“Massah” Google Whips His MLM Slaves: But I's A Free Man

I knew what was coming before I picked up the phone.

"Did you hear? Did you hear? Google dissed mlm and network marketing!"  "They say network marketing, mlm, and affiliate marketing aren't legitimate businesses and they've been disabling mlm lead ads!"

"I can't believe they're actually saying we're illegitimate Harkon!  They're gonna ruin thousands of online marketers' businesses overnight!  With the size of your online business and the leads you seem to get, you gotta be sweatin' over this!"

My answer was uncharacteristically short:  "Nope."

“Nope!? Come on man, be honest.  This is serious. Pay per click is where everybody gets their leads! You’ve got to have more to say on this Google thing than 'nope'!”

My answer was even more direct.

“Yeah I do. $@%*# Google.”

The voice on the either end of the line was silent.  As many times as he’d called me for advice and feedback on his network marketing business over the last 17 months and gotten used to hearing my often unexpected, jarring recommendations, this one still appeared to catch him completely off guard.

“Uh, O-okay.  I guess I should have expected you’d have some kind of subversive, outside the box perspective.  ‘Deep Game’ right?”

I just smiled.  All in all, he’d still come to know me pretty well.

The Blues For Massah Google

Look peeps, as my teenage daughter would say, I’ve been “over” Google for quite a while now.  They have a God complex.

They’ve been the Halliburton of search engine marketing operating without any semblance of competition for so long that they figure they can do anything they want and we have to simply eat their crap sandwiches, smile, and ask for more.

They’re always sermonizing about the people who use them for searches, but you realize who's paying them right?  WE are their customers.

But “Massah” Google likes to make sure the field slaves and sharecroppers know who runs the plantation.  Well, you can consider me Nat Turner (if you don’t know, look him up on wikipedia).

The strategy that perfectly applies to this latest Google situation is found in one of the revelations called The Law Of The Mogul, documented in a more than two year project I’m literally just finishing up called “The 38 Laws Of 1% Network Marketing.”

The book is based on the synthesis of all the lessons I learned throughout my heartbreaking journey from bankrupt, foreclosed, and struggling mlm’er to financial freedom as a network marketing entrepreneur, combined with the candid wisdom from separate interviews with over a dozen 6, 7, and even one 8-Figure, network marketing/mlm legends.

My vision was to do something I'd never before seen done, and that I wish I'd had access to during my tough climb up the mountain:  to compile a unified, comprehensive set of laws that govern the exact path to the top 1% of network marketing income earners, all from the 1 Percenters themselves.  The results are explosive and sure to be controversial., but for some longsuffering, frustated networkers, light bulbs are going to go on.  Big time.

Keep an eye out because sometime towards the end of this week, we're going to be giving away a limited, but unprecedented, amount of electronic pre-production copies of the new book for free, but for now let me give you a preview of just one way this Google b.s. is handled in one of “The 38 Laws.”

The Law Of The Mogul is based on my own original concept of what's called ‘The Mogul Matrix’.  This Law asserts that 1 percenters build their business empires based on multiples.  Among other things, that means multiple streams of income, multiple products, multiple information interfaces, and in this unbelievably timely case, multiple marketing channels.

You see, many businesses throughout the gamut of the online and offline business world have been tragic victims of this law.  Flying high, seemingly strong, and making a killing one day, they are literally out of business the next because they allowed the overwhelming majority of their leads, sales and/or profits to rely on one, single supplier, retailer, manufacturer, marketing channel, etc.  The American car companies, and especially many of their suppliers, are currently hanging on by a thin rope right now in no small part because of making this misguided, deadly mistake.

As professional network marketers we have to heed this law even more if we want our income to be built on a stable foundation.  You’re marketing plan should never be built so that it is severly crippled or destroyed if a single marketing/advertising channel like Google is lost.  Especially given Google’s history of being dictatorial at best.

There are plenty of other marketing channels that can explode your network marketing results into the top 1%, the least of these being article marketing, video marketing, audio marketing, web 2.0, tele-seminars, web seminars, blog marketing, forum marketing (a lost art many don’t understand how to do effectively), snail mail marketing, and yes, even some offline (gasp!) marketing techniques that are effective if you understand how to adapt them to the Information Age.

My general disdain and mistrust of Orwellian authority aside, this latest slap in the face from Google is exactly why the marketing system we designed for our network marketing organization provides automated, On-Demand training on how to market your business systematically using not only pay per click, but at least three other simple techniques with equal, and preferably more frequency.  We anticipated this type of pimp move long ago.  Next thing you know, Google will want to brand a “G” into your ass to designate that you belong to them and are allowed the honor of eating leftover pig parts from their advertising trough.

If you haven’t already, I’d highly suggest you begin redesigning or adapting your organization’s marketing system to be balanced with these other channels and techniques.  Like yesterday.  I wouldn’t spend too long wringing your hands over how to get back in massah’s good graces.

The alternative of course is to continue to let Google whip you til you scream, “My name is Toby!  To-o-oby!”

I know my choice.  I's a free man.
