10/10 Exercise

Just a quick post at this moment, however do not under-estimate the power of what is called the 10/10 Exercise.

The 10/10 Exercise works in accordance with a blog I wrote about morning routines. In the morning when you wake up (I say it allowed in bed as a morning prayer), simply state out loud or write it down 10 things for which you are grateful for. It can be anything that makes you feel good. Here are some examples:

  • I am so happy and grateful to be alive!
  • I am so happy and grateful to be experiencing good health!
  • I am so happy and grateful to have a conscious relationship with the universal creator!
  • I am so happy and grateful to live in beautiful British Columbia!
  • I am so happy and grateful to have a great, loving relationship with my daughter!
  • I am so happy and grateful that I have a supportive family and amazing friends!
  • I am so happy and grateful to live in a nation that allows free enterprise!

These are just a few examples of how to craft your 10 things you are grateful for. Now, do not just go along and say them as that will defeat the purpose of this exercise. You must really feel happy & grateful and trust me it's a great way to start your day!

Once you have complete that, the next step in the 10/10 Exercise is to declare 10 intentions. These can be intentions for the day, week, year...it is totally up to you. A few examples are:

  • I intended to spend 8 hours of uninterrupted time with my daughter this weekend!
  • I intended to invite 10 new individuals today, to discover how my organization is redefining the way we travel!
  • I intend to meet 2 like-minded individual today!
  • I intend to close 4 sale's-cycles this week.
  • I intend to take my family to dinner and a movie this week.
  • I intend to generate $3,500/month in additional income by March.
  • I intend to further understand quantum physics

Again, these are just examples of ways you can construct your intentions. It is always suggested that you share your intentions with those around you. This will help in the manifestation as stated in the Art of Manifestation.

Just to recap; in the morning you want to say out loud or write it down, 10 things you are grateful. This will create a happy feeling which will kick start a great day. And by feeling good, it is a great time to follow up with your intentions.

interesting...

very interesting wayto look at it, I focused on not focusing on our main goal because this is a way to get discouraged... using that ultimate goal to drive us

but never thought about using it as a forefront, in a way it takes a disciplined mind to really pull it through regardless

either way though we both share the concept of surrounding yourself with like minded individuals who also believe in personal mindset being the key to success

great article

Excellent

Hi Rasheed,

Yes!! that is an excellent way to start your day.  When I get up I always say thank you, I have an actual conversation with my creator and he always reassures me that everything happens for a reason.  Sometimes that reason isn't disclosed, but it is good enough for me.

Quantum Physics!!

Wow, How do you feel about paradoxes.  Kinda interesting stuff.  Sometimes the things we do to avoid a situation, will actually be the thing that sets it off. LOL.

For lack of a better name to call my creator-GOD= Good Orderly Direction! There are so many different philosophies, I don't want to get into a spiritual debate with anyone, But I believe in God.

I believe he is my father and if he wants me to know what is on his mind I am sure he will tell me in his own way, whether it be to slow down, by putting someone slower than me on my road, or maybe I might be exhausted because I have been working too long on my computer, he will crash it and it happens all the time trust me, or my connection will go down. either way I look at it like he is trying to tell me that it is time to take a break.

So counting your blessings is an excellent way to start your day.

Especially if you are willing to listen and respond to the graces given, with gratitude and love.
