4 Ways to Generate FREE MLM Leads

By Rod Nichols

If you are planning to be successful in network marketing, you're going to need a large supply of leads. Here are four simple ideas for generating your own leads:

1. Free Classified Ads - search the internet for "free classifieds" and you'll find thousands of sites where you can post free ads. Get enough of these out there consistently enough and you'll see a steady stream of leads.

2. Social Networking - MySpace and Facebook, are two of the top social networking sites. On these sites you build lists of friends, who as you build relationship, could become members of your network marketing downline. Put up a site and start making friends.

3. E-zine Marketing - If you can write a decent article, there are tons of e-zines looking for content. Write articles that are informational, but also drive traffic to your web site.

4. Funded Business Proposal - sell an information piece that would be of interest to network marketers. People who respond are already interested, so all you have to do is figure out how to get them interested in your network marketing program.

If you would like a simple to use, in-expensive, marketing system that will help you generate tons of leads click HERE.

Re: Social Networking...

You can count BetterNetworker.com into that social networking category!

A lot of people have coined it "attraction marketing" now, and are having great success on social networks. The key is to be a standout contributor of great content that makes people want to get to know you better and attracts them to your profile or contact info.

Nice article... if you're going to do classifieds though, beware of the free classified "submitters".

Those are just likely to get you spammed and post your ad to pages that not many people are likely to see. I'd much rather pay for a classified on eBay or some site I already know to have a TON of visitors who are actively searching for something, and find me that way.

Spending time submitting to sites that have no traffic is just a waste of time. Go where people alread are if you want results ;-)

Rod ,

Very good suggestions. They all work very well. Much appreciated. Your server seems to be glitching tonite. Just wanted to let you know.

Your right!

Rod,

I have had great success from these methods! Just find one that is responsive and post there consistently to see results, then just build on that, and duplicate.

A sale a day, keeps the bills at bay! LOL! I just thought of that :)

Keep up the good work, Rod.

Rod

Thanks for sharing the information.  I love Social Networking and have had a lot of success with it.  If you haven't started using Twitter yet I would suggest jumping on right away - it is micro blogging with Social Networking all in one place.

At present trying to use the advice regarding myspace, facebook etc. Twitter seems good too although i not too familiar with these applications. Free Is Good

It saddens me to watch people throw their money away on expensive programs that don't work when there are so many FREE solutions to generating leads.

About Myspace

I'd be careful about using myspace.  You definitely don't want to solicit your company/product/service.  If you read the Terms of Service, it states:

  1. advertising to, or solicitation of, any Member to buy or sell any products or services through the MySpace Services. You may not transmit any chain letters or junk email to other Members. It is also a violation of these rules to use any information obtained from the MySpace Services in order to contact, advertise to, solicit, or sell to any Member without their prior explicit consent. In order to protect our Members from such advertising or solicitation, MySpace.com reserves the right to restrict the number of emails which a Member may send to other Members in any 24-hour period to a number which MySpace.com deems appropriate in its sole discretion. If you breach this Agreement and send unsolicited bulk email, instant messages or other unsolicited communications of any kind through the MySpace Services, you acknowledge that you will have caused substantial harm to MySpace.com, but that the amount of such harm would be extremely difficult to ascertain. As a reasonable estimation of such harm, you agree to pay MySpace.com $50 for each such unsolicited email or other unsolicited communication you send through the MySpace Services;

Just something to keep in mind.

Hey don't forget the power of comments!!

Here's a neat trick... well I think so... Go to Google and search for Google Alerts and then set up Alerts that notify you whenever someone posts a blog, video, web, or group.. you can choose the search keyword, the type and how often you want to receive the Alert to your email address... Then all you do is to click the link and ad your own comment... it's simple but effective...

Ezine Articles

I have had pretty good results with writing articles and submitting to ezine sites. I have found that my most "successful" articles are the ones that come straight from the heart. You don't want to just make something up and post. Write from what you know. For example, I wrote an article called "My Yoga Story", which was the true story of how and why I began practicing yoga.  This article generated a good amount of traffic to my website, and I think still lives on top of google if you type in a search for "My Yoga Story".

I have seen it also end up on other blogs, sites that I have nothing to do with ! People can tell if what you write is genuine, or false. So write like you speak, and write what you know.

Good luck!

Hi Rod,

I am starting up on social networking now and have been writing short articles to submit to ezine publishing sites, or use on my profiles and sites for awhile. I hadn't thought too much about the free classifieds online, though.

Thanks for the kick start!

Opportunities are within grasp

Hi Rod,

I really didn't know a few things you've mentioned in this article.  I will try to apply some of these steps to generate leads.   I certainly need a lot of help.

Thanks,

Thank you for this information!

This information is invaluable to me as I am new at network marketing. I like the term 'attraction marketing' and I am learning so much from the MarketingMerge program.

Thank you again for your most informative post. BTW, MySpace is a mess to deal with. I have a page there for my horse rescue and I get a lot of people who mess with me and say they want to eat my horses. That crowd is not so serious. Facebook is much better IMO.

Be well,

Elle

Clear, Concise, and To-The-Point

Rod,

There's just NO reason anyone should have to throw money away on buying leads.  And have you ever noticed how so many of these lead generation companies re-sell the same leads over and over again?

Purchased leads are stale and they often contain Wrong Numbers, Bogus Names, and Invalid Email Addresses.

Your article addresses the most sensible and logical approaches to generating leads.

Here's a tip for anyone choosing to place free classified ads ...

Google LOVES USFreeads!

Wishing everyone here tremendous network marketing success!
