5 Tips to Avoid Network Marketing Burnout!!
Joining a Network Marketing business is similar to making a big dollar purchase. It can be very emotional and stressful for a lot of people. When people join, they can be very excited, apprehensive, overwhelmed or nervous. This is very normal and there are some strong emotions for everybody, especially those who are not experienced in our industry.
This article can be used as a tip for new distributors or can be a guide for somebody who sponsors a new distributor. Below are some tips that can help you in your first few days.
1. Expect that there will be some point where you regret your decision to join your business - This is very normal for people. It is especially normal for people who get very excited at the beginning. If you know there will be a point where you will regret your decision, you will be prepared when that time comes and will know that it is a natural part of the process.
2. Do not try to do everything in the first day - I see people all of the time who try to do everything the first day. What happens most of the time is these people do the wrong things and wind up getting frustrated.
3. Realize that your business is a marathon and not a sprint - Those who are successful in Network Marketing are those who can stick it out for the long haul. Pace yourself!!
4. Listen to those who have had success - If you are like I was when I started, you will think that you have all of the answers. A lot of things about our business are counterintuitive, so find a person who has been successful and do exactly what they tell you.
5. Continue to do the things that you enjoy - I see so many people who dive head first into their business and forget about the rest of their life. If you do this, you will not be happy and people will not be as interested in joining you business.
It is difficult to be a new distributor in a Network Marketing Business, but these tips will make your transition into your new business simpler. Our industry is the best in the World once you set the right expectations and have the right mindset.
