7 Great Video Marketing Tips for Network Marketers
Here are 7 great tips you can use to get lots of views to your videos and free traffic to your site.
1. Lead with inspiration and value instead of pitch pitch pitch, sell sell sell. - People don't care how great your program is or how much money you're making. They want to know how they can benefit from getting to know you as a person. Are you going to be the leader that will help them succeed and be there for them after the sale is made?
If you read Magnetic Sponsoring then you should understand this concept.
2. You don't have to spend a ton of money on a camera. You can get a decent web cam for less than $100 or even a portable video camera you can take to the streets for about $150. There is a great camera by a company called Aiptek you can get at Best Buy or Target. Get a 4 gig memory card for $35 and you can record hours of video to be uploaded to your computer. The Aiptek camera is far better than the "flip" in my opinion.
3. Be creative and original in your videos. Don't watch what everyone else is doing all of the time, be yourself and do something silly and entertaining. Say something inspiring and look to different niches, not just networking. Build relationships with people in other niches you like. For example, if you're into dirt bike racing then make a a dirt bike racing video. Put your URL at the end with a message that says something like this. "Who else wants to make money on autopilot while you ride your bike all day?"
4. Make sure people can hear what you're saying in your video if it's important to the content. Get a lapel mike to hook up to the camera or if you use a web cam make sure that you get a decent microphone. Video quality is not as important but it helps.
5. Use software like Windows movie maker or IMovie for the mac (much better in my opinion) to add you url and even your phone number or skype. Add music that is not copywritten to your videos so you don't get in trouble for using someone else's content. Prince once sued a lady for putting a video up on you tube with one of his songs playing in the background... so don't try it.
6. Do some keyword research for the tags in your video. If your business is Abunza then put Abunza in the tags. Make sure your company allows you to use their trademarked name in your video, Abunza does which is why I joined them. The last company I was in wouldn't let you make videos, so I fired that stupid company and found a new one. Use a keyword tool like the google adwords keyword tool and put your keywords in the description as well.
7. Upload your videos to multiple sites. You Tube is not the only game in town. There are tools you can use to do this with. One of them is called Secret Video Traffic: http://www.SecretVideoTraffic.com. This is a service that allows you to upload your videos to tons different places including social bookmarking sites. You can get free traffic to your sites from the search engines in just a few hours doing this. Be sure to put your URL in the description as well. You can also put your URL as the media author instead of your name.
WIth these 7 tips and a fire in your belly you can get free leads and sales of your magnetic sponsoring stuff, or whatever you want in no time. The key thing to remember is these video sites are social networking sites, so pay it forward there just like you do at the magnetic community.
To your success,
