7 Ideas In Helping You Get Free Referrals For Your MLM Business
This is by far the most potent 7 ideas that has been overlooked by most Network Marketers - Asking For Referral. (AFR for short)
By far and large, most Network Marketers I known had not been using other than my insurance agent. The prospect may have rejected flat out to marketer's business opportunity but that doesn't means "end of story" for both parties. If done right, the marketer would have been able to establish some form of relationship with the prospect and may now start asking for referral. Some classic questions to ask will be
- Whom do they know may benefit from this product?
- Whom do they know wants to start a home-based business?
Well, most of them will say "Ya, I know a few." And this is where your referrals start coming in.
In fact, I had compiled 7 ideas, which I had tested along side with my downline and it prove that prospect willingly give out referrals despite they reject you.
So, lets get started,
- Before starting out to get referrals from your prospect, plan and write down the exact words you would most like to use when asking your prospect for referrals.
Example - "Hi Bob, whom do you know that would benefit from the product that you had just reviewed?" Or "Mary, whom do you know that would like to start a home-based business with the opportunity you had just seen?" - Practise your referral speech in front of your uplines and vice versa. This way, you will know how you feel in prospect shoes. And also, practise it in front of a mirror to see how natural and confident you are in asking for referral from a rejected prospect.
- Set up a Tell-A-Friend script in your Thank-You page and providing them incentive like, if they were to refer 5 people, they get free trial of your product or more informational freebies.
- This may be diffcult for some Network Marketers. You have to experiment asking for referrals via email. After pitching your primary opportunity over phone, one-on-one or maybe party plan, send them an thank you email and ask for referrals. (This also works for inviting prospect and their friends to your business/product presentation or party plan - just throw in some freebies to do the trick.)
- This one's classic. Alot of people are using it but with some creativity, it can transform into a FREE DAILY RECURITING machine, that is your email signature. Let them (the readers) know that you welcome referrals, the more the merrier. Give out your link and on how you can help them.
- You may give your prospect some specially design referral cards and ask them to fill in on the spot. On the cards, indicate name, telephone, email and who referred. Ask your prospect to fill it in and call up the person your prospect referred and bring the filled-in referral cards along to show your referrals.
- I save the most powerful the last. Call and say thank your to your prospect or who ever give you the referral's name and let them know that the people whom they referral had benefit from the product or business opportunity and is their best chance to come and join your team and hand in hand with the people they know and trust. Most likely, you will get a posititve Yes, as this is a human nature.
