Are you letting time and self-management skills hold you back from having MLM success?

While doing some unpleasant tasks today and sitting in waiting rooms – I wondered how many of us are not using our time effectively.

It is a known fact most of us often keep hundreds of hours of undone stuff in our minds, on scrap paper or on our computer. Would you admit you could use better time self-management skills? While a calendar or a clock can give us a measure of time, it doesn’t provide us with a larger perspective needed for greater success—to develop and use better time self-management skills.

Are there times when you feel you are running around like a chicken with its head cut off—not knowing what you should do next? I know I’ve been guilty more than once.

If you put a time management system in place you can get more accomplished in a day. Those who don’t have a time management system in place can get upset at the slightest change. Having a time self-management system in place can also help to reduce personal stress and feeling overwhelmed, where instead you will have better focus and be in control.

Do you have poor time self-management skills? “Yes”, “Some”, “Maybe”, “No”.
90% of those interviewed admitted they had “little to a lot” of time self-management problems.

When was the last time you analyzed how you are spending your time? Is it productive?

Here are 16 time self-management tools you can choose from to help you have better time self-management skills?

Prioritize between important and unimportant tasks – include spending time for yourself or with family.

Most of all – don’t procrastinate – set some goals early in the day – eg. if you have several tasks to complete – do the one you like the least first thing in the day. You will have it out of your way and can concentrate on things you enjoy.

So now I ask you – is it really about managing our time or about managing ourselves?

Isn’t it time you had a plan of action?

Time is the most precious commodity we can not buy or rewind. I hope you can use some of these time management tools to help you with your MLM success! Now the time is up to you!

Time Management

Great post!  This is a very wide spread problem with all of us.

Another thought is,  I  keep a small notebook with me everywhere I go to jot down my thoughts. I have dividers for website update, blog update, co-workers and my short stories I write.

Also I carry a book to read and use car time by playing the Psalms and Proverbs. Since each scripture is a complete thought, these work for me.

Time Management

@ mary bird.  Thank you Mary for the nice compliment.  When my kids were still home - I kept everything on the calendar and was very proficient.  After they left for college and married, I became one of the biggest procrastinators on the planet.  A few years went by and I knew things had to change because "time" was not standing still.

Sounds like you have taken control of your "time" as well.  Very good tips to pass along.

I try to take audio books with me as well when driving long distance to listen to, as I never seem to have the “time” to sit and read.  Maybe I’ll do a post on the “must-read or listen to books for success”.

Sometimes we think we are living in a fast paced world or is it because we don't set aside or take the "time" to enjoy life.

Excellent Post

Mostly time just passes by, and we keep wondering what we accomplish till now. Its best to have a system in place to keep everything in check, even if you don't like it. At our organization we use Replicon Timesheet to keep track of employee time based on task, and many time employees don't like this but they forget this is the tool which make their task accounted for.
Time Management is not an easy task, i should say.
