A "Newbie's" Outlook Part 2
Hi Everyone, It's Tony (the newbie) here again for my second installment. Since I last wrote I have decided on the business I will join. I have to admit it was a little more difficult than I had anticipated, because of all the opportunities that are placed in front of you constantly. I had narrowed my choices down to two. My decision was based on the companies history and reputation, and not having to plan on a product being auto-shipped to me every month. The company I did not choose was still in "pre-launch", so there was no history of their past performance, although I did check out the companies officers background and experience. The company seemed fine, but it was too new and they had that auto-ship feature in their terms and conditions that I was not very enthusiastic about...... oh well, I'm happy with the company I chose, and I had to ask myself would I purchase their product/or service even if there were no business opportunity attached to it!!! ( the answer was YES ). I will not have any inventory to be concerned with, no auto-ship. I will be providing a necessary and helpful service to customers as well as an excellent home business opportunity for those who want to join, and all for a very modest and affordable investment.
I realize I have a lot to learn in Network Marketing, and I will!.Since I last wrote you, I have been devouring e-books, and audio tapes, and videos on marketing, sales, building your business, and personal development. I have spent quite a bit of time here on Better Networker reading all the wonderful, and informative articles, posts, blogs, well all the information all of you contribute...... and I thank all of you for your unselfish and caring attitude, and your wiilingness to help everyone.
I would like to share some of the information, and learning "Golden Nuggets" that I have been able to integrate into my persona, and will incorporate into my business. Remember I learned a lot of this from you guys!!!! First I want to put out a new term for marketing that I plan on using....... we have been bombarded with "Attraction Marketing" which is a solid and successful manner in which to market your business....... but don't you think it is being over used now by everyone? almost like the correct "buzz word" to use in todays network marketing circles. It has taken a life of its own. All the reading and speaking with so many network marketers over the past several months, I can see that attraction marketing is making a lot of marketers too serious and "uptight" about making sure they are using the concepts of "attraction marketing".... bringing prospects to you!! too many people out there are concentrating so much on this "attraction marketing" that it is becoming too serious.
I want to introduce " Lite Marketing". This can have all the quality contents of "attraction marketing" but none of the pressure of doing it "the right way" and eliminates the dissapointment if your lead generation is way below expectation! OK "Lite Marketing" will have these precepts:
1. Don't take yourself so seriously......relax... lighten up... this business is not life and death, its not even 911 or brain surgery!
2.There are no failures!......you did not fail at anything...... it was just simply not the outcome you were hoping for. Try again!
3. Speak and interact with others as you would want them to treat you. ... put yourself in the other persons shoes, and try to understand others before you bring up how wonderful your opportunity is.
4.Enjoy.... the work you do..... as if you really don't need the money.
5.You are unique..... no one in this world is exactly like you. You have a lot to offer.
Well , everyone thats all for now, I will release some more "Golden Nuggets" in my next installment. Remember I have learned most of this from all of you........ this is just a reminder, in case you forgot about these tips. I hope to incorporate all these "Lite Marketing" tips and precepts into my business. I hope this has been enjoyable to read, as it was for me to write, if anyone wants to find out more about me, my business or about "Lite Marketing" hahahaahaha... just get in touch with me. I'm eager to learn and to share. I hope you all are well and that everyone of you achieves what your heart desires. Look for my next installment. Until next time God Bless and take care.
