A "Newbie's" Outlook Part 3

     Hi everyone, It's me Tony the "newbie". Well folks, I joined my first MlM company 2 weeks ago..... hey I pulled the trigger! after much researching, and procrastination. I admit it... I was nervous about taking action and joining up.After giving my recruiter/upline my information and method of payment!!!! (which is of the utmost importance ) I was informed that my business owners kit will arrive within 5-7 business days ( took longer than that guys ).Then was proceeded to be given the conference calls schedule..... wow!!! that many during the weekdays?? I guess I will be enlightened with "golden wisdom from the masters" I better be!!! to take my time up each nite haha... I was also informed by my trainer/upline that I would recieve some e-mails the next morning.... so I can begin my training and adventure to building my financial wealth h-m.m.m.m... I noticed immediately that my sponsor/trainer/upline was extremely "chipper" you know... very up beat, her voice had an high swing on the end of each syllable... a happy ass!!  uh-oh!!!.... now I'm generally in a good mood most of the time.... but not like this.... oh well maybe she had a outstanding day..... oh yeah.... she did sign me up didn't she... got me into her down line.... "sing that song sweetheart".

      Well I received a lot of e-mails from her and her up-line welcoming me.... they all got a piece. right?... hahahaha.of course they are there for my success, and I can call them at any time, and that my sponsor would be my trainer, and I needed to call her every day!!!!! every day?.... I don't call my wife every day! well not what she wants me to call her! hahaah. We would be going over my training and orientation every day. Then she mentioned first.... was my "WHY'S".... the reasons for doing this business.... but I was already prepared for this.. so I had my why's ready to send her. The next exercise was>>>>>>>> you guessed it "THE DREADED LIST"OF COURSE it had to be AT LEAST 100 PEOPLE WHO I know......... I'm an older guy I can't remember the names and phone numbers of some of my extended family!... Again because of my research I was prepared for this. I  made up a list... but not of that many people. I realize I am better at meeting and having a conversation with someone face to face,... than trying to pretend to want to have a conversation with a "warm market" person , and really trying to sell that person my products/services or my excellent business opportunity! have mercy on them!!! hahaha. So now into my second week I have met face to face with many folks in my warm market and people I do not know very well. I first started doing it the my company's way......... and its true.... people are polite, BUT you can see the expression on their face's when they realize they are being set up to be sold!!! there is a slight change in their posture and expression.... but its there!! they did not like it..... and I don't like it. Thats not me!!!!. Well 3-4 times during the week the Team has conference calls usually at 8 or 9 pm EST. I have listened to all of them and they sort of rehash the same concepts.... once or twice there was a "guest speaker" that was very interesting. I realize that everyone that is in the higher echelon of the company and are making the big bucks, including the top of my TEAM...... and my trainer...... all sound the same!!!!!!! I mean the "lilting" voice, and cuetsy expressions..... eveything is so wonderful!!...... Is this what I need to sound like to become successful at this? please don't get me wrong, I'm an upbeat person. I try to see the positive in most situations, I have trained myself to have a positive mindset all the time, and above all keep it humerous and "LITE". So I guess I will have to live in "Fantasy Land" in DisneyWorld for a while, and "pump" nitrous oxide" gas into my mouth,for that "squeaky voice.... before I get onto a conference call so I fit in!!! hahahahaha. Ok seriously, I'm happy with the company... I do believe I'm in the right place at the right time. My upline/ trainer is actually awesome!!! and her marketing and sales tips... are of a tremendous help.... she is there for me when I need her, but she does not hound me... nor chase me... she lets me learn at my pace.I have  engaged many, people from some persons I know from the neighboorhood, and church, and my gym..... also to people I just meet in a store, or at a restaurant. I have a conversation with them...... not at them..... and I'm not waiting to pounce my business at them either! and its going well for me( no sign ups yet!! )..... if the subject comes up as to  what I do for a living, or if they mention a need that my products or service can fill.... then and only then do I gently steer the conversation in that direction. This is what works for me and I feel comfortable doing. Remember I want to employ my concepts of "lITE MARKETING"

TO BE FRIENDLY WITH EVERYONE, AND FIND HUMOR IN EACH DAY.

RELEASE ANY AND ALL PRESSURE ON YOURSELF.... your life don't depend on this.

THERE ARE NO FAILURES

MAKE ANY SMALL COURSE CORRECTIONS AS NECESSARY

REALLY LISTEN AND LEARN FROM THE PERSON YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH

GIVE OF YOURSELF, AND PROVIDE VALUE TO OTHERS

TAKE BREAKS, AND TAKE SOME TIME TO LOOK AROUND AT THE BEAUTY SURROUNDING YOU.

ENJOY LIFE... WE GO THRU THIS ONE ONLY ONCE.

NO REGRETS! YOU DID YOUR BEST, AND ITS NOT YOUR FAULT!

EVERYDAY THAT YOU DON'T ENROLL ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!
