I believe that simple systems and great sponsors are a must. But truly indespensable is You.

For at some stage you need to step out from behind the skirts of your assets and reveal yourself. People buy people at the end of the day. And if they don't rate you, finito.

Here's the thing. 95% of networkers die a death at this stage. They drown in their own blathering. Either reading from  a robotic script or speaking exaggerated nonsense. In a word, bursting with insincerity.

Here's the thing, be yourself.  First you can't be anyone else. Secondly if you're sincere and honest, you're giving yourself the best chance.

The Victorians called it character and it could make you stand out from the networking herd, big time.

Remember the adage about insincerity: I can see so clearly who you are that it drowns out anything you are saying.
