All Failure is Due to the Lack of A System

What is the system you are using in your Network Marketing business?  What is the system you use in your Direct Sales Marketing company?

You may ask yourself:  What is the difference?  If you don't know the difference I can help.

"If you want to pattern after the best you have to become the best"~Robert C. Camp

Do you have a great mentor?  A great coach?  Are they helping you achieve your Network Marketing business goals?  Are they also assisting you with your Direct Sales Marketing company?

Or, are they just showing you the how to recruit more and more people into that Sales Marketing company?  Are they teaching you to use "affiliate links" to build up some income?  What are they really teaching you?  Is it a real duplicatable system?

Find someone with values similar to yours.  Find someone who is willing to show you the pace at which you should work...not frenzied and "you have to have 100 ppl by the end of the month or you won't make your quota" mentality.  Do you find their methods attractive and similar to your views?  If your gut is telling you something does not feel right....well, you know what they say about gut feelings.  GO WITH THEM!

1)  Your Associations and who you choose to associate with has a lot to do with how your Network Marketing career will turn out.  Are they people that challenge you, nudge you in the right direction even if it is not what you want to hear?  Are they giving you honest, no-nonsense advice that will actually help you grow your business?

Hang out with people that will pull the best out of you...Not those that only tell you what you want to hear.  Benchmark yourself against those you associate with...

2)  Read books.  Period.  Books give depth to YOU.  People who read have accomplished great things.  They set themselves apart from others as knowledgeable and Leaders.  Align yourself with those Leaders.  I belong to a great group that gets together via the phone every Wednesday evening to discuss issues that will personally help you grow.

3)  Work Consistently.  Do enough of the right things and envision the end results.  You have to have Faith in what you are doing.  If you don't have faith in you, who will?

Successful people compress more acts into shorter periods of time in critical junctures of their life.  Live and work like there is not tomorrow.

"Who you see is who you will be."

Put your system in place and see where it takes you.  Let me know if I can help any time.

Thank You

I believe without a system (especially a good one) your are toast.  There are a lot of "systems" running around out there but do they have key ingredients to allow you to become successful?

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Dianne Humphries

With out a system willing to Help a Newbie and take them by the hand.  You are toast.  Newbies need Training.  But you do not know what kind of Training they will need till you take the time to get to know them.  If you are willing to help People up Close and Personal  that makes you a better Person.  And will help them see Success is just Picking the Success Path and taking one step at a time.  Not all sytems are created Equal.  NOthing compares to a Caring Human Teacher.  Who will point and Lead you in the right direction.  They do not need all the answers just were to get them.

Great points Dianne

A great business system is a must, especially in todays day and age. But I also believe that the best place to start the business building process is by starting with 'you'. Like you stated about being the best you can be...it's an essential element to anyone's success.

It's no secret that the best atheletes have a training system, nutrtion system etc...all overseen by a coaches, mangers, trainers, ect...and the best usually gets paid the most...but in the business world, and especially in the home business world...people tend to forget this premise.

Hey Diane, Great Article.

Hey Diane,

Great Article.  For me, having found a mentor and a community to learn and grow has made all the difference in the world.

And consistency is key.  Working the 90 day plan.. big big deal and works so simply!

Thanks for the great article!

Fast vs Slow

Many systems work but some create faster results. I have met many who have done well in companies that have a high attrition rate because they hung in there and as Kristen said they where consistent. I would always suggest for people to study the system they are using and see if they are getting the results they want. I have been in a few organizations and have been in many systems to create results, but I found that I wanted a system that allowed me faster and better results as you have obviously found Dianne. Keep up the good work.

Without A System....

Its like trying to get somewhere you've never been without a map!  Probably not a good idea!  With a system, people can focus on becoming Professional Pointers and watch their business duplicate!  Thanks for the great tips as well!

Need A System

As a newbie, at least to MLM, I find so much great info and advice here. Your latest article is a good example. I find that my upline is more of an old style biz builder than I want to be but I'm observing, learning, taking what my gut feels is a good match and going from there.

That said I have made a commitment to myself to do what I am not comfortable doing. That may include some of what these more experienced but not 'net oriented uplines do--a home party? I shudder at the thought, not the doing of it but the asking people to show up part. But that's why I am here, to see what other successful people do and learn to stretch and try on new ways of doing and being.

Thanks Diane,
