An Experiment in Life and Business, Try this!
I was curious and went to the Betternetworker home page where they have a photo gallary of members posted. You can click on the photo's, get into their profile page, and see when they were last on site. It's an interesting fact that the numbers of tire kickers and looky lou's far out weigh the ones who have been a regular on site, providing value and presence, perhaps learning something that would help them succeed in their home based business.
The numbers I got from this experiment were about 98% dud's. Hmmmm I wonder why it is that people fall out of the industry before they give themselves time to get the train rolling? I think this is an accurate picture of what is going on in the homes and offices of those who dream big, but don't have the desire or hunger to see it to fruitation. "COMFORT ZONE' WEAR A HARD HAT!
Maybe it isn't just about the company, the product, the comp plan, and who you hang out with, not about Old School or New School or the School of Hard Knocks. Perhaps it starts with that empty space that exsists somewhere between your left ear and your right ear! Isn't it easier to just sit on the couch with a bowl of microwave popcorn and watch the latest rerun of "Family Guy?"
So my suggestion is this, if your new to Network Marketing, or have been around awhile, floundering and failing enough to break your spirit and make it easier to spend your free time in a rocking chair, go ahead and project your thought to a year, two years, five and ten years down the road. How will you have grown, where will you be, have things improved in your life, is there any change going on, are you any closer to your dreams, or are you willing to accept the agony of defeat, and live a life of "Quiet Desperation?"
If that thought makes you want to throw, then I suggest you better get off your couch, educate yourself on how to build a successful, thriving, walk away residual income you can pass down to your childrens children! Spend the hours working on yourself, get your shotgun out and blow the friggin TV to dust!
Find your niche, your 5 Pillars, and get busy building your dreams! Quit talking about the sorry state of the economy and do something about it! Network and duplicate, be a part of something great, put your passion back into life and adding value into the lives of others.
How will you be remembered, what will be carved on your tombstone, what is your Legacy? Time is your most valuable commodity, what will you do with your time today to start the journey to "Owning Your Life?" What about your family, your kid's? How will you provide for them, what will you teach them as example, what will you leave them with when you go?
Good questions to ask yourselves, huh?

It is just too easy
There are things many that make people look at becoming financially independant but is just to easy to not do anything about it. Too many of us are afraid of failure before we even try. What people do not realise is this is network marketing and everyday they are networking just not marketing. There is very little difference in the two it is just that people do not look at it that way.
When people ask the usual question, what have you been up to or what do you do? This is one of the best times you could ever hope for as a network marketer and yet so many of us don't jump on it. We think about what we have been doing for so long to make a living that we do not mention that we are in network marketing. Why not? We need to think the right way all of the time and use every word correctly. If you are in network marketing then tell people. Give them a reason to ask you about it. If they do then you might just have found another person who will join you.
