MATT: Randy, great to have you on the line. Thank you for taking the time to share your insights with us today. I know we've only secured a short one hour, so let's get started.

MATT: Can you define for us that may not know and for those of us that need a refresher, your specific definition of an MLM Grinder and an MLM Rock Star?

RANDY: Thanks Matt, Yes, I'd love to. When I talk about an MLM Grinder, I'm talking about the people who have to constantly replace their distributors because they drop out. They have to make all the presentations themselves, handle all the meetings, and pretty much do everything. If they slow down for one minute, things start to unravel in their group. They’re always grinding, but the recognition, big bonus checks, and free cars and trips always seem just a little out of reach.

When I talk about the MLM Rock Stars I'm talking about that select group of people in the business who actually are living their dreams. This group of leaders has developed Rock Star lifestyles that includes millions in earnings, luxury homes, exotic cars, travel to glamorous locales, and the freedom to spend their days however they desire.

RANDY: But the path from Grinder to Rock Star is unclear. It's like we're trapped in Matrix, unable to move, spinning our wheels, doing a lot of work and getting no-where. The path seems all up-hill. People drop out, we replace them. People work for a while, stop, restart, stop, restart - as leaders we try to work with these people and keep them going. And rarely, people join and run with it, and we seem to finally get some help. Someone grabs the vision and helps us pull that boulder up hill.

MATT: But it shouldn't be like that. The dream we were sold was a two to four year plan of roses and cruises and big fat commission cheques with someone else doing the hard yards. DING! Lightbulb moment - it's the guy on stage who gets the free ride, and the big cheque, and its us in the trenches doing the hard yards. You must have seen that a million times in your career, Randy, right?

RANDY: Right, over and over and over and over and over again! That's why its time to wake everyone up and take a good hard look at where you are now and where you want to be, and see if that path aligns with A and B. "A" is where you are now. "B" is where you want to be. Does the path you're on now go in the right direction?
