Are you treating your business like a hobby?
Ask yourself this question... are you treating your business like a hobby?
To answer this question accurately we must first define " hobby".
"A hobby is an activity engaged in for pleasure and relaxation during spare time"
I don't know about you guys, but for me every hobby that I have ends up costing me money. Let me give you an example; I enjoy golfing - even though I am terrible at it. To golf regularly at the courses I like to play, it can cost me an extra $500-$1000 per month. Unless the golf gods suddenly grant me with a decent short game, I am certain I won't be making any money with that sport anytime soon:) I also enjoy traveling, which is another hobby that can be quite expensive if you allow it to be.
My point is this business is no different! If you are working your busines in your spare time, then you better be prepared for it to cost you just like a hobby would. Folks, to succeed in this business it requires hard work, discipline and commitment. If you expect your business to produce like a business then you have to treat it like a real business!
My friends and partners, allow me to make one suggestion...
Let's dream big, work hard and go change some lives!
