ARE YOU WORKING ON YOUR DREAMS TODAY? 2nd report

Read More: Personal Development  |  Positive Thinking

I talked yesterday about being conscious and deliberate in working on realizing our dreams.
1.  Get out of your comfort zone, and
2.  Take things one day at a time.

Now that you are out of your comfort zone, and have a plan for today, I want to address the fears which love to pop up their little heads whenever we are in new territory.   They take the form of ‘what if...’, ‘yeah but...’, ‘this might not ...’  etc etc ad nauseum.  That’s when you have to just take strong hold of that rebellious, scared mind and give it a good shake and throw out that crap.
DO NOT entertain those thoughts for a minute....they are energy wasters and dream killers.
Rarely rarely is the ‘worst’ consequence anywhere near as bad as that cloud of ‘undefined consequences’.

There is a neat trick to use with whatever worries you might encounter.  Take it right to the most extreme worst thing that could happen and make it specific.  i.e. If this doesnt work, they won’t hang me!  If this is harder or takes longer, what am I doing anyway that is better?  Struggling and planning is not anything that is going to cost me my life!!

There is an old Chinese saying that I just love, and I believe it is so true.  It says: “The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed.”  IF you quit, you will never know where you could have reached and what you could have accomplished.

So whatever else, you do NEVER NEVER NEVER QUIT!!  Almost nothing works the first time its attempted.  Just because you are not seeing results today does not mean it wont work in future.
It just might be that the way you are going at it, it not the best way.  You have not found that YET!  If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and you wouldn’t have the opportunity you are now working with.

So that’s today’s suggestions.  Stay with it!!

I am loving my involvement with Mentoring for Free - and especially the 30-day cleanse which is liberating my mind and giving me so much more time to be positive and creative...each day.
Would you like to join us?  No costs, no obligations....just a friendly and helpful group who love to support and assist each other in achieving our goals.
I want to thank my mentor for all the time he has taken with me - re-focussing me and reminding me of my purpose and direction.

All the best everyone
God bless your efforts and your loved ones

Nice

Thanks sista ...great to have a fellow Canadian in this little community. It's starting to feel and look like spring out there in Supernatural B.C. The buds are poking their heads out and the trees and saying " prune me now"...lol  ...right on a time for thanksgiving as new green life is coming alive.

A 30 day cleanse...wow you must be fairly familiar with your bathroom...lol

great thoughts

Rachel,

I appreciate your thoughts about keeping our focus and never quitting.  We all have those temptations when things aren't going like we think it should.  It's important to exercise patience (but never never ask for it)  and keep a positive attitude and ignore those nagging doubts that want to creep in to our mind.

I understand the cleanse is a mental cleanse.  I am loving it and so needing it after 50 plus years of letting others and other stuff infect my mind with untruths.

Your friend,

Lynn Jones

Quiters never prosper. To strive is hornorable and if done with knowledge will generaly lead to a successful conclusion.
