Arrrrrruuuuuggg.......Distractions!
Do you have those days, or weeks when you are just cruising along doing wonderful, cranking out articles, generating leads, growing within yourself, making connections, just flat out feeling like you are in the groove? Then bam? Bam bam again. Bam.
Interruptions pop up. Life just happens. It could be any number of things………
Your cat puked or died
Your grandkid wants to play piggy back
You broke your finger and can’t type
Your got in a car wreck
Your mother in law stopped by
Your sewer is clogged
The bull broke through the fence
It’s your birthday and the party is at your house
It’s time to clean house again!
You want to go outside and play
The fish are biting
Well you get the idea. Everyone has road bumps. I’m having a road bump or more like a bumpy road because I don’t know how long it will jar my daily life.
You see, we sort of have house guests. My daughter, her husband and my darling grandson are in the process of buying a house. In between moving out of their rental and waiting for clearance so they can move into the new house, they are here with us. Now I love them very much but obviously this is one of these “life just happens” things.
So, do I get frustrated? Well, yeah a little bit.
Is that productive? Of, course not!
What do I do?
First, I purpose to remain positive and enjoy the moment I am in.
Second, I try to use every pocket of time productively.
Third, I keep reminding myself of the title of a great book I read. “All You Can Do is All You Can Do and All You Can Do is Enough” by A.L. Williams.
I’m sure stuff comes up in your life too. Maybe you have a life situation to share that distracted you. How did you deal with it? Please share, it will help us all.
Well, better get going. It’s time to shower, cook, clean, shop, play……well, you get the idea. It’s the same for you too, I’m sure.
Have a great day,
Lynn Jones

When Life interfeers(?) with our plans
Hi Lynn
Thanks for sharing - something I think wmen experience more than men. (But maybe I am being sexist - Politically incorrect!1 heaven forbid!!)
Anyway women have traditionally been the persons usually considered to drop whatever they are into and take care of the people around them....i.e. family.
But what a treasure and joy family is!! We will all be networking and tweeting for a long time yet (I think - I hope) and our young families grow up & away so very quickly.
So my dear enjoy your loved ones!! That is what you are 'supposed' to do today.
I have been goofing off for the last day or so and nothing more important than lunching with friends. How 'inexcusable' is that? But you know it is what makes my life good and full ...and the internet and the links will all be there 24/7.....whenever I get back to it. Thats whats so great about internet marketing...right??
Lets rejoice in this day the Lord has made and all that it brings us.
Keep having fun Lynn -- you deserve it and so do your family.
All the best

Perfect timing...
This article could not have come at a better time for me. I am going through a distraction period right now and have been under the weather as well. So to weather the storm , so to speak, I too stay positive and focus on what really counts.
My family and my health.
Life happens all the time.
