Attracting Prospects To Your Network Marketing Business

Words to the wise and NWM food for thought from my business partner ...

Are there any sure ways to attract network marketing prospects to your downline? This is a question that has plagued some network marketers for years. You would think with the Internet at everyone's disposal,  there must be some real solid methods to turn targeted traffic into hot prospects, right?

To date, there does not seem to be one technique that will attract prospects to your network. It is a combined effort that always works the best.

Your company will be more than happy to tell you how to prospect leads for your downline. You have to wonder sometimes, though, if anyone giving out this sagely advice has actually practiced it themselves.

1. Sign up your family, all of your relatives, coworkers, friends, acquaintances, and everyone else that comes within a few feet from you.

2. Buy prospect lead sheets, then cold call everyone of them.

3. Sell everyone on the company's compensation plan, because no one has a better one.

4. Go to every event that your company has scheduled, for all the distributors to attend.

5. Join different organizations within your community to prospect the members.

There are probably a few other tips your network marketing company can give you. Your company might even have a whole book you can purchase that is loaded with all of these prospecting tips and many more.

Many network marketers will practice these tips to generate leads for their downline and will give up trying after reality hits them in the face. They try, then die. This is a big reason why so many independent, home based distributors give up on the network marketing industry.

These tips are not realistic in today's saturated market. When you are being told to recruit everybody, then the message the company is telling you is; everyone will be interested in the products, the opportunities the company has to offer, and that anyone will be good at marketing. How real is that??!

By using attraction marketing methods on the Internet, you will be attracting individuals to your business opportunity that are truly interested in what you have to offer. This means being creative and establishing yourself, so people begin to know and trust you.

Create video presentations you can use as marketing tools, posting them on your promotional website, youtube, and various network blogs  leaving back-links to your site. Begin to establish yourself as a presence in marketing forums and write articles to submit to article directories sites.

The whole idea is to expose yourself to a wide audience in a more personal way, so others can relate to you as someone who is in charge and knows what they are doing.

The leads you get from this type of attraction marketing will be very solid leads.  These people you attract are honestly going to be interested in your network marketing venture, because you are behind it.

Creating video presentations and training videos might seem like a lot of work, yet it is not that difficult. Writing articles about your market and establishing yourself in forums is very straightforward.

Sure, this takes time, but this will also secure your position as a respected expert in your field. Money just can't buy this type of advertising for you.

Positively,

Be yourself !

I think the easiest thing for people to do is just be themselves.  Each of us is made up of a variety of different roles we play.  Parent, friend, sister, secretary, volunteer, business owner (part time) etc.  When we meet others on or off line the natural questions others ask us is do you have kids, where do you live etc.  Telling them about your business is just part of the whole of who you are.

Nobody should be hesitant to talk about their business opportunity.  It's a part of who we are.  No different than if we owned and operated a shoe store in our local area.

Blog On Melanie.  I enjoy your writing style.
