Attraction Marketing: Generating leads.

Attraction marketing is a truly simple concept; bring people to you who are interested in what you offer. It requires learning and implementing some new strategies. If you are just beginning it can be overwhelming.  Don’t get discouraged. It takes a little time, patience and persistence.

 Here is a simple outline of how to get started with attraction marketing for your network marketing or other home business. 
 

  1. Build your web of content centering around one location—a blog or web site.

  2. Master SEO (Search Engine Optimization) so your content is found on the internet.

  3. Use web 2.0 social sites to attract people to your location.

  4. Maintain contact with follow-up e-mails to give more value, build trust, attract them to your offer.

 Web of Content:

 This is paramount to your success. This is an asset you are building for the future. Write articles and make videos which are of value to your target market. Post these articles in various content sites like, Hubpages, Squidoo, E-zinearticles, Youtube.com, etc. If you are stuck on the writing part either hire writers or get some simple training in article writing.
 
SEO: Search Engine Optimization for your success.
 
Make sure your articles will be found by the search engines.  Two key elements to master are key words and link value. 
 
       Keywords

Use the best  keywords to attract the kind of leads you want. Start with less competitive key words. Use a free keywords to determine which keywords to use. Pay special attention to get keywords in title tags and priority locations such as titles, subtitles, bolded text, etc, in your article. Follow the simple rule of “say it first and say it often.”
 
       Link Value
Link Value is the number and quality of incoming links. Incoming links are links that are pointing to your article.   Use your keywords in the anchor text (words you click on to access the link). Use links from sites that have a good page rank. You can get a free page ranking tool free with the Google tool bar. Make sure your links are “do follow” meaning the search engines pay attention to it.
 
You can increase the number of incoming links by (1) linking your other articles or videos to it, (2) bookmarking your articles, (3) buying ads on blogs or web sites that have a good page rank or (4)writing such good stuff that other people want to link to it themselves.
 
Web 2.0 Social Networking Sites = People
 
Next, make yourself known on a couple of social sites like Facebook, Myspace or the network marketers site, Betternetworker.com. Build relationships, share ideas and comments. Help one another. Create activity for your articles.
 
 Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up.
 
Once your content is generating leads you need to develop a relationship with those leads and build trust. If they get enough value from you they will eventually be willing to look at what you have to offer. You can do this by providing frequent, relevant valuable information to them by e-mail. Focus on their needs.
 
Attraction Marketing: You can do it.
 
Attraction marketing is truly a simple concept and especially suited to the internet. To be successful you will need to put a value based web of content on the internet, get it found by search engines and create relationships with the leads generated.

You have a very good, informative article.  I think a lot of people don't realize that learning attraction marketing skills takes a lot of effort.  You have obviously been well trained and are putting what you learned into practice.

Another thing you are doing is teaching what you have learned.  That's the sign of being a good leader.  It will also attract qualified prospects to you.

Hi Claire,

I like you article very much; however, I am noticing that everyone is talking about   Renegade Network Marketer system and Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring

But very few people talk about what they're selling?  These systems present you ways to market yourself to attract prospects.  But there is very important element or component that is missing?  Product.

Without a product, what is the system worth?  Do you have a product or are you using the system  so that you can gain knowledge when you have a product in place?

The only reason I am asking this question is because there are people who may not have a product to sell.  So how does this system help people who don't have anything in place?

 Hi Freddy,

You are right.  I have listened to some of the systems out there and can't find a product.  I have propriatary product with my primary network marketing business. But every business needs to market their product. 

This article and the Renegade Marketer and Magnetic Sponsoring are more about using the internet to build a client base. The products they have allow a person to monetize the process. The Renegade system offers a back end affiliate site and the Renegade e-book is the product that helps you fund your list building process.  Magnetic sponsoring has it's e-book as a product and a web site as well, with other, back end, more expensive training products you may advertise.

I have found the Renegade University, www.RenegadeU.com , the most helpful training to learn to implement the whole process of internet attraction marketing, whatever product you choose.

I think you are doing the best thing--learning the process and developing relationships on the web so that you are ready to take off when you find a product that you want to really get going on.
