Avoiding Information Overload- How Do I Get My Business Going?

Building a network marketing opportunity online can be a very rewarding experience.  But, like anything, learning to avoid the pitfalls can save you a lot of costly time and money.

Maybe you have spent money on a sure-fire course to show you exactly how the "Big Gurus" get a gazillion leads, pounding on their doors with credit card in hand, demanding, and pleading for them to let them join their opportunity!  You even get to peek over their shoulder to see how its' done first hand!!

I know.  I understand.  I've been there.  If you were like me, you had the binders and DVD's strung all over the living room floor, and not one clue how take the information in front of me, and translate it into meaningful action.  It is what I would describe as being seized up with information OVERLOAD!!

Its OK.  From what I am seeing and hearing, it is a common feeling shared by a lot of people just getting into online business building.  Not all of us were born techies.  All we really need is for someone to take us by the hand and show us the proper step-by step way to get going.

For the purpose of this first article, what we will attempt to do is unravel all those tangled knots of information, and put them into step by step achievable order. We need to see where you right now, and devise a game plan to get you to where you want to be.

And our objective is to keep it SIMPLE as possible.

 It matters not, whose program you are in.  The training will be generic with no companies or products mentioned.

Alright, first things first.  Lets talk about TRAINING.  I can not emphasize this enough.  You are embarking on a new profession!

  If you are building a network marketing company, it makes sense that you should learn from someone who is currently active building a hugely successful network marketing company, and MAKES THEIR MONEY FROM THEIR COMPANY.

Look at it like this.  Information is changing all the time.  If you were going in for heart surgery, would you want your doctor to be up on all the latest technology concerning surgical technique, and many successful operations under his or her belt, or, someone who has read about doing heart surgery, or perhaps, never bothered to go to training seminars to learn the newest updated methods and technology.

Next important item is your TRAINING BUDGET.  Most people I know of who are trying to build income from home do not have piles of cash laying around to throw at more training.  I know I did not.  Oh put it on the plastic, not a great idea if you are trying to avoid debt and starting your business in the red.

So, from what I have seen, here are your choices:

A.)  Teach Yourself  (recommended if you have limitless time, armadillo skin, and love self abuse) usually leads to choice B or D.

B.)  Spend $1,000 on another how to course.  (which will lead to choice C.)

C.)  Get on an Airplane, fly to Big City, Spend $10,000 on Guru Siminar (and find out that you could have learned the same stuff by choosing choice D.) = buyers remorse

D.)  Take advantage of FREE training and coaching to build your business BIG!

It matters not which training vehicle you choose.  The information I will be covering will be information I have learned from choice D.
