B2C OR B2B?? Why Not Both!!
Almost always, MLM / Direct marketing is geard to the consumer!! Get people to the meeting, to watching a video, or just flart out, signing them up. for the sign up bonus. Sure it is all good, but look at the statistics! Over 90% of people fail in their MLM business. The reasons are even more plentiful then those filled with regrets. It is economics 101, products and services must change hands for an economy to flourish. Even in a sub economic sytem, like the direct marketing arena, these basic mathematical truths hold firm. The biggest MLM companies ship a lot of product to the end user.
Some people get very rich, while others flounder, and nothing will change that on any demographic chart. But to some people, now entering this industry, especially those with great Corporate backgrounds, the B2C pill is very hard to swallow. Years of training, coupled with positive reinforcement, from the big checks associated with closing big deals, makes it hard for the executive type to turn Peddler!!
So why fight them!, When you really want them to Join you!! Several of the best of the best products out there, can and should be marketed to businesses! Sure, the building of a downline is a part of these companies, But with a B2B appraoch. More product is moved more quickly, than in the traditional B2C approach. Why limit yourselves, when you can have the best of both worlds, and train your new people to conduct their business in the way THEY find most appealing. B2B is Not for everyone, and B2C is certainly not for everyone either. "Know thy prospect!" is the unwriten, first commandment, of our industry.
As the major Corporations of America, continuie to down size, more executive types are entering the Fastest and only Growing industry, in America today; The Direct Sales / home based business feild. Many former Execs. are frustrated with what they are being introduced to. Yet these people, who are used to six figure incomes, organized, self motivated, and certainly not afraid, are the people you want in your organization. This could happen and should happen, but only if you have what it takes to attract them, The correct Opportunity!!

B2B is a powerful way to make income
Tom,
I have worked with clients in the global market that are seeking a particular product or capital funding for their projects. What I do is? to the best of my ability. There's a lot of money to be made in the B2B business as oppose to B2C. Doing business B2B is not easy but it can be done if you are good negotiator; the key is, know how to bring two sides to the table and consumating the deal.
But how do you use B2B for this type of Business? Please comment.
Thanks,
Freddy Pilar
Appealing to the corporate suits
I agree Tom.
Using a B2B approach to your business could very well be the difference between a nickel and dime residual check and a six figure one.
BUT it requires the right product/service and company to appeal to the corporate suits. A network marketer that has some corporate background and experience of their own wouldn't hurt either to be able to talk their talk so to speak.

Agree to the nth power!
I agree with you and Rhonda!!! At this point in time, we need to understand the importance of the product/service. Although people are looking for means to make a living and combat this economy, these businesses are looking for products/services that will help their business grow. They want it and we provide it. In the end, both parties are happy.
Right on target
Exactly troops! B2B takes the correct product or service. For a hint look at the technology sector. Just because the Internet stocks crashed and burned a few years back, does not mean new technologies have not been born. What has changed is how these cutting edge companies are marketing the products and services. You Guessed it MLM /Direct marketing, the proper business model for our economic enviroment, Plus the cherry on top, many of these products are targeted to the MLM industry. That's right troops, times are a changing

B2B ideas
In any business the key is getting customers to walk in the door whether it is a standard brick and mortar or a home business. Working in the corporate world for my whole career, this B2B application makes a lot of sense and is most familiar to me. I am currently using a system which I am marketing in the B2B world in addition to network marketing to help drive sales. I am finding that many businesses are now open to looking at new ways to market, reduce costs and drive ROI If you can show a good ROI and make a good business case the market is wide open.
