I have been reading some of the posts that people make on the better networker and it brings my blood to a boil. EVERYONE says the same crap!!! (with a few exceptions so if this offends you, you are not one of them)
We all read have read Mike Dillard's information and so really there is no reason to repackage the same stuff and send it back out into the same community.
There are tons of examples of this redundancy, but the one that I just read 3 different times by three different people is just getting me to my friggin limit!
Yes it is true people don't join business's they join people and leaders....but those are the sheep that will join a leader into a crappy business. DON'T TAKE THIS SO LITERALLY! You don't want those people anyway!
I you take crap and repackage to look all pretty it is still CRAP!
I am a successful marketer and a leader to many, whom people would love to sponsor, and I am sorry but there is no friggin way in the world that I would follow the best leader into selling vacations! or something else like that in this economic climate (now if this offends you that is just to bad!) Maybe it was great before but times change.

YOU MUST TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT WHAT IS HAPPENING TODAY WITH A KEEN BUSINESS EYE! I sat in on a local meeting of a large MLM company that just launched a new health care divison in NY. The meeting was quite impressive in numbers, but it flooded with kids from 18-21 years old. I sat in this meeting and listened to a "top income earner" brain wash these kids into thinking that NOW (on the eve of one of the worst days in wall street history) was a great day to peddle protein shakes at 40 bucks a pop. Is he retarded?
The point here is this, if you want to see if a business model is good, take it out of the MLM arena, see if you could make that business work, if you had to make it run in a traditional platform. That is a true test of the measurement of a business. Anyone influencial, can dupe other people into a "Pyramid Scheme" (Charles Ponzi convinced people to buy nothing...literally) but you need to really do your research to keep your ethical and moral fiber intact, your conscience will thank you for it.

I whole heartedly agree. While I have to regrettably admit that occaisionally when I was younger, I actually fell for the get rich quick mentality that is so rampant today, in more recent years, I refuse to join an opportunity that does not have the following:
1.A product that I would use whether there is an opportunity attached to it or not.
2. The price point is "reasonable" enough to allow massive amounts of the general public to be able to afford. I like consumable products, but if no one reorders, what's the point!
3. If you can taste it, it has to taste good. (again, if no one likes it they will never reorder.
I may be a little too picky and actually went approximately 5 years not actually involved with a MLM company because I couldn't find any that met my qualifications.
Anyway, sorry to ramble. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated reading your article!

I've been in the BetterNetworker community for only a few days and I really can't believe some of the posts I've seen. I keep thinking that I'm reading a line out of Magnetic Sponsoring or something...
For the "re-packagers"... your readers can tell if you're writing from experience or if you're just typing up someone else's ideas in your own words.
Go read some books other than Magnetic Sponsoring and come post the things that you learn in here. That's what this community is about...
