Bring Success to Your Passion and Energy to Your Purpose

When I first joined my MLM, my upline asked me to do the same thing that each of you were asked to do---write down my goals and listen to a recording titled "It’s not the how, it's the why!"

 
Now, like some of you, I dutifully set about filling in the blanks as if it was just another homework assignment. Tonight I would like to challenge each of you to pull those worksheets out and take another look. Because as I discovered, it you are not totally clear about what you want or why you are doing this business, things begin to become tedious and the tasks very similar to that 4-letter word “work”
 
So, now this time as you complete the work sheet, I want you to add “PASSION"
 
Passion unlocks the door to your destiny, and widens your opportunities. When you're aligned with a passion, you wake up in the morning feeling exhilarated, ready to take on today's business building tasks and even your neighbors with one hand tied behind your back. 
 
Sometimes (quite often) I get distracted, and tend to focus on secondary activities that are not really fundamental to our business but one thing we can never get distracted from is our passion.
 
Today, I would like to guide you through a quick exercise:
 
When thinking about Passion, you should ask yourself "What do I like the most?" "What do I care about?" "What are my gifts?" And then “How can I apply them to this business?
 
If the only incentives you have are financial or of personal gain, people will begin to recognize the emptiness within you as time goes on.
 
This simple exercise helps determine your Purpose. Our Purpose is the universal component binding all of our actions towards a greater destiny. Passion is an awesome motivator and Purpose is a great destiny!
 
Now you have your passion and your purpose! Next is the hardest question of all…. Who are you? 
 
This is perhaps the hardest question of all and the hardest to answer with true emotion. 
 
And the fear of finding out who you really are can be paralyzing. I even went as far as to ask myself "What if I'm wrong?" "What if I can't live up to who I am?"
 
Fear is the only thing that can stop you from living your dreams. Be courageous, get out of your comfort zone, and conquer your fear. Just beyond your fear lies the most amazing world you will ever experience. People with purpose and passion live a different kind of life; while others just make a living, they make a difference! Are you making a living or making a LIFE??
 
Eventually I came to realize, you don't have to change who you are to be successful. Just acknowledge who you are and be true to yourself!
 
Now I won’t tell you that answering all these questions can be done in one day or even two. It actually took me several weeks and several people telling me that what I had come up with wasn’t really me. Isn’t it funny how other people see you so much clearer than you see yourself?
 
But the reward in answering these questions is that you live your life in a manner where you feel gratified and fulfilled and then others will follow your lead!   If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more to become more, then you truly are a leader."
 
So, as great coaches, we would never ask any of you to do something we wouldn't do ourselves…….So let me share the end result of my journey into finding out who am I
 
I am an energetic and powerful leader committed to helping others realize their dreams and celebrate their successes. I am committed to creating wealth that will in turn help others take a step forward to regain their faith in mankind. I am filled with passion for helping those willing to reach out and take the steps to help themselves. I am determined to make the changes necessary in myself, and encouraging those changes in others to create a world worth thriving in.
