Business Or Family (Which Comes First?)

When one of the following crumbles, then chaos begins to set in. Some learn the hard way and others learn the easy way, and some never learn.

Faith
It is about standing on the principles you believe in, even in the most difficult times. Faith has different levels my friends. I will only breeze through them but you will recognize what it is when you sow the seeds in all the areas of your life that you succeed.

One book I would recommend to read - Tough Times Never Last But Tough People Do! By Robert H.Schuller.

Nesting Stage – It is when an idea touches your mind. Like a bird that gives birth to an egg and lays it in the nest. Many never go beyond the nesting stage.

They let their circumstances or the lack of money, education, skill, friendship get in the way. The will get excited and later on, they talk themselves out of it and some does the job for them. Easy for someone who is looking to quit anyway.

When We have an idea and you, and I have decided, and act, then nothing in the world will stop us The universal laws will conspire with your faith, courage and action. The world always makes way for those who know what they want and they are going to get it, no matter what hits them.They will learn what needs to be learnt, no matter where that knowledge is.

The Testing Stage – is where you test the idea. No human being who is irresponsible will not test their idea out. Like the person who tests the keywords, to capture pages, split testing everything to see if they stay in, or move forward or replace. And when a human being’s value system is intact then they will test and they will be fine in doing so.

Questions needs to be asked, “is this necessary?” Is there a niche? Do I create one? Is there another path? Can it inspire people? Is there a need?

Not “what if” but rather test to get these answer with full force. Do not bank what someone says. Do not bank what someone writes on the many walls of the internet.

Rather, test it out, do your research and do not waste time in just sitting back thinking if it will work. You’ll never know until you do something about it by testing it out with full force and faith.

The Investing Stage – it is here that many do not even get to because life will test them. They will not invest in knowledge. They will not invest in training. They will not invest but they will readily blame everything under the sun for their failures.

Here, we must commit time, energy, money and sometimes, our pride. Many get to a stage where it needs more investment in time, more character, more change from the inside, more discipline, patiance and learning. Life is a great system which filters out with ideas, and who will not take the extra step to the next stage.

If you are broke, if you are unemployed, if you are not moving forward, if you see nothing much is happening to your life and business – ask, “HAVE I done EVERYTHING in my power.”

Well, have we? If not, then my friends do so. It is easy to quit at this stage but not so easy to be truthful with ourselves. Those who done everything in their power and find their way, suddenly see themselves at the next wonderful stage.

The Arresting Phase - here my friends is where you have made the decision. You have stepped over the line. No, no more ifs and buts. You've got the data, you gave time to it, you didn't list to anyone else but FACTS! And you decided to run with it.

The very moment you do so, you get attacked from every angle. It is here where you wonder if you made a terrible mistake. If this was not the right place to be or the right business to step into. Doubts begin to creep into your mind and you wonder, if you’ve bitten more than you can chew.

It is here the people begin to try to throw tomatoes at you with negative words. Well, I got some news for you my friends.

Have you ever seen people throw stones at empty mango trees? Have you ever seen kids through sticks and stones at a tree that has none of those nuts we call conkers? No, I haven't. No one has! They are throwing at you because you got what they want and they haven't got the guts to do what you are doing! Period!

Here is the part I love because when it happens, you and I know, we are hit jack pot. We are getting closer. 

You say to life, “Come on! Bring on! I submit to whatever it is. I am NOT backing off. Do you hear me! I am NOT backing off!”

You tighten your grip and you push that pedal down and Vrooooooooooom! You move. No negativity, no recession, no banks going crazy with debt, no NOTHING stops you. People wonder what are you on? Then they wonder if you are going to make it. Then it changes to, what if he or she does? Then it changes to, “hey, wait for me!”

You can judge the dark clouds ahead or you can judge by your own strength and faith. You can look at the rain or you can say, “Thank God! I am alive, it’s another day to try again!”

You can judge the fall or get up again You and I have every CHOICE to stand fighting or give up, and quit. We ALWAYS have a choice.

The final part of Faith – is the Cresting Stage.
This is your crown. This is the moment you are on top of that mountain and you say, “Am I really here?” Oh yes! This is the moment you can rejoice but look ahead my friend. This is only the first mountain to climb. How big is your dreams?

On that very mountain you stand with your team and those who followed you all the way through. It is the time of where you heal. It is the time when forgiveness is easy. It is the time when you look back and wonder, “Why on earth was I worried about these things, eh?”

When you have done this once, you CAN do it all over again. And lead the amazing team you have with you.

Here, the money flows baby. It flows so fast that you wonder where on earth it has it come. If you have been smart, you have tracked everything and made sure on your Testing Stage, that everything is telling you where it’s coming from.

Here, the loneliness goes. Here my friends, the road isn’t so dark anymore and you are not walking on your own. The team that you have grown to love will follow you wherever you go and many, may even surpass you. And that isn’t a problem for you. Oh no, it is indeed an amazing sight to see.

Here, people are rushing to get into your business and you are calm, and replying, "We'll see. At the moment mate, I'm kind of busy. I'm free...erm...oh yes, in two weeks time." And they say, "Ok, great!" That's right. You are making the decisions on who you give time to help.

I will come to the following two stages but I will only touch on them very, very briefly. Not that they are not as important as faith but I just want don’t want to give you too much.

FAMILY
I didn’t say business. I didn’t say job. I didn’t say upline. I didn’t the president of the USA or Britain. I didn't say money, pins, recognitions or face in the newspaper.  I didn’t say your pals down the pub. I said “Family.”

Yes, it is that important my friends. I stepped into network marketing because I wanted time with my wife, my family. It has been a blessing but be careful, it can sneak up on you, like the negativity of mediocre people who like to sink their teeth in some good old natter.

Family comes first my friends not business or job. I have walked away from jobs many a times when they wanted me to put them first. They can forget it! Family comes first. The business enables me to work with my wife and hand in hand, we work together as one.

"But what about your bills?" Yes, you are right but I made that decision long ago, when we are together as a family, we'll manage. Miracles happen when families come together as one. Company or family? Company or family? Hmmm? Company or family?" Let's see...FAMILY!

We plan, we decide, we sit down and write down our goals together. We go out and we walk. We eat together and yes, I do the cooking most of the time.

Hey, I am one tough, mean, on the ball when it’s discipline towards business but when it's my family, they come first, always not job or business. The boss can take a hike! The company can do the same if they tell me to choose between family or business.

Our teachings, our thoughts about life, our talks on integrity but start at home first.

Business
Notice business comes last. It is not that I waver with business. It is not that I am not disciplined. It is not because you and I are weak. Let the tough time roll and you, and I, can take anything. No problem.

It is because we are stronger, leaders when we put our family before the business or job. No greater joy I have ever recieved than the joy of seeing children smile, laugh and my wife smiling. No greater joy comes from spending time with my family. Life happens only once. Make sure to have a balance.

Success must radiate through all the areas of lives. This includes health, mental and spiritual. Yes, we will make mistakes. The stronger person learns from their mistakes. It is a mistake we see in the corporate world and I have seen it many a times in business too.

Faith, then family and then business.
