I have heard the saying many times "You can give a person a fish and he eats for a day or you can teach the person to fish and he eats for a lifetime. So should we give the person the fish or should we teach them to fish? This may shock You, but if you want to build a bigger, more profitable online business, you better give your prospects the FISH. Just like water seeks the path of least resistance, people have a tendency to do the same thing. They are looking for the "Magic Button" or the solution to their business building problems. What are some of the problems your prospects are having? They are looking for a way to get new sign-ups in their business. Now if you can show them a way or a system that will allow them to sign-up new distributors in their business, with out bugging friends or family, you are more likely to attract them to you than someone who doesn't have any system or solution to their problem. You just gave them the Fish. Here are some immediate problems I encountered a few months ago when I made the decision to make online marketing part of my business building routine. 1. Have a funded proposal to attract prospects, make money upfront and start building a list. 2. You need a capture page that attracts prospects to what you are trying to sell. Do you learn to create capture pages or learn html. Do you need a web host to host your capture page online? 3. You need an auto-responder to market to your list. You need to write email copy that sells your products. What if you don't even know what an auto-responder is and how to use it?   Here is a very important point. The online marketers that seem to be attracting the most followers are the ones that are offering some kind of product, system, or service that solves a problem or provides a solution of being able to do something easier, faster and with less pain. They are providing the “FISH”. Just look around and you will see someone offering Pre-written capture pages, Pre-written emails, Items for you to market as funded proposals, Pre-designed systems that are automated to help you build your down line. The first thing I did when I came online to market was look for a system. The "Fish" I knew that if I spent all my time trying to create WebPages, write emails to market to my list, that I didn't even know how to keep, and try to create a funded proposal to sell, I would lose a lot of valuable time learning what is important when first starting your business, marketing and building relationships with like minded people. The simpler the system, the more people it will attract. What if you had a professional system with a capture page that brands YOU as the expert, is easy to set up? (average one hour maybe two if your new to the internet) has funded proposals already built in to give you instant cash whether the prospect actually joins your business or not, trains your new distributors how to set the system up quickly, has prewritten adds and training on how to get traffic to your site, manages your list and markets to them for you. "They either join or they opt out". No need to go get an autoreponder, it is built in. The system is truly generic and can be used by anyone to automate their business building efforts. Before I jumped online and into network marketing I was doing very well building spec homes and buying foreclosures. Did I have to know everything about building a house, and did I have to do all the work. No, I spent my time managing the project. I could easily get someone to do the work for me as long as I paid them. Why spend hours trying to put a system together when you can easily have one up and running now for very little cost. Since I have started marketing online, I have met several very successful online business builders. The one common denominator I noticed was they all had a system in place for their down line to plug into. They all are providing the “Fish”. I do think it is better to find a system if you are just getting started. Get making some money while you are learning and start putting ideas together for a system of your own.  Take the Fish!
