Counselling within MLM

Read More: Personal Development  |  Positive Thinking

Developing personal qualities and awareness within your MLM business is paramount if you want to become successful and sustain what you have achieved.

When studying Counselling one of the first concept's learned is the "Jahari Window".  Imagine a four-paned window.  In the first window is the "public self", things you know and others know.  The second area is the "blind area", things you don't know.  The third area is the "hidden area, other's don't know.  And finally the "unknown area".

This window can represent our awareness about ourselves.  We can choose to share more of ourselves by self-disclosure and so increase the "public self" area; we can ask for feedback from others and decrease our "blind area".  However there is always an "unknown area", but as we find ourselves in new situations meet new people and work to develop more self-awareness, we can choose to find out more and more about ourselves.

As a New Year rapidly approaches let us begin the year with a hope and vision that will see our MLM businesses grow individually and collectively.  Tapping into the unknown can be an awesome journey.

Counselling Within MLM

Great job Carl!  I am very familiar with the Johari Window.  You could write for the next 6 months about just that.

Self discovery comes with risk taking and a safe way to do some of that risk is to set goals.  I truly like what you had to say and look forward to reading more.

I will have to Learn more about this Window

Never heard of it and I want to be able to know that Part I am blind too.  I am Learning that you must becareful not to allow the approval and attention of others to destroy me.  To Remain Humble and grateful for all of my accomplishments and know that  a force greater than my ego is always at work in my life.  I want to always remain Humble.  Your Friend for Life

Jahari

Thanks Carl!

Im an Information Junkie, and learning all the time. I love this theory and wonder if certain people keep the blinds down all the time! LOL juuuust kidding.

I really feel that the blind area and the unknown area would be roughly the same size in many peoples windows, as they would constantly be reflective off one another.

Warmest!

happy New Year!

Very interesting

Great article Carl. I have never heard of the Jahari Window before, but it makes a lot of sense. I have taken a psychology class in collage, but have never come across this term before. This is very interesting.
