   Culling your MLM prospects

Professional Network Marketers understands that many prospects they talk to are not good candidates. They are tire kickers with big wishes and little drive. Time being our scarcest resource we ought to spend it on the quality candidates that stand a good chance of helping build our businesses.

This puts us in the sorting business. It is important to develop the techniques needed to evaluate a prospects mindset, desire and willingness to put in the effort. I for one am looking for individuals with leadership potential. I know if I can foster that characteristic I will have created a life time ally and businesses partner.

Do not waste much time on individuals with short term goals and lack luster desires. Some people you just can’t help. If they won’t participate, act on suggestions and are generally negative about suggestions you are wasting your time.

What you are looking for;

Someone that is receptive to coaching

.

Someone that is receptive to constructive criticism.

Someone having a good intellect.

Someone with enthusiasm and a desire for something better.

Someone that believes in themselves and demonstrates leadership qualities.

Work without agenda to make this person a leader and 99% of the time you will make a lifetime friend and associate.

Personal…complementary success training, I would be happy to share my

wisdom

and

experience

with you.

Culling you MLM prospects,

Hi Ellwood,

Very interesting article,Very true in every way,  I have finally got tired of pushing ropes,

One previous company had a saying ,leave the Gold (your REDs)Ship's  alone and work with The SILVER,ships(your  BLUE +GREENS) ..The Present one says work with RED Apples,

Spending less time with the Green apples.Ignore the rotten Apples.

MY Personal feelings are Work with those that are willing to  work or are trying, are coachable and have a big why..

Good Post

Elwood,

Your post was very good. I also believe that when you are sorting, you should not act as though the prospects time is more valuable than yours. They need to understand that they need MLM, not the other way around. I also believe that it is important that you are upfront and tell them to be successful it takes the right mindset, hard work, patience and the willingness to learn. The world rewards those who take action, not those who make excuses.

I Would Agree...

You can only help people who want to be helped.  You can not want it for them.  They must be coachable, and willing to follow instructions.  If they are not ready, keep them in the back of your mind, for the time may come when they realize they can't do this alone and they present themselves ready.
