DECISIONS AND PASSIONS DRIVE YOUR DESTINY...AND MONEY??

Listening to Tony Robbins the other day.....(I was scribbling as fast as I could - as he was throwing out gems a mile a minute!), I could see why he is where he is.

In his own personal style of energy in motion he was talking about basic human needs.  He talked about the need for:
- ‘certainty’ (able to be safe & comfortable);
- variety - the need for surprises...and yes, he put problems and challenges in this category;
- significance - having a unique sense of who we are and what we are doing;
- connection to others and love, giving and receiving.

The above. he counted as basic human needs.  Then he counted further our spiritual needs:
- to grow and progress and
- to contribute to the world beyond ourselves.

I was struck that there was NO talk of money or of a Higher Power sense or awareness.  I know that money figures most prominently in our awareness when there is too little of it to live as we wish to live....when basics are a struggle and when we are short every month.
But my connection to God is very much a basic foundational factor for myself.  I would be lost if I did not relate to a Higher Being that I believe has a good and benign plan for my life.  I try to live in accordance with what I think that might be at any time.  Life with God seems very scary to me....altho I am aware that some people consider God to be a big bad cop who is out to get us.  i.e. the recent ad campaign (in England I think it was) saying, “God probably doesn’t exist, so relax & enjoy your life.”  Life without a God focus seems quite pointless and confusing to me.

But back to Toni Robbins he made the point that whatever is the strongest need in our lives, tilts the direction.  That makes sense.  Similarly, with no focus or direction, little progress happens.
What gives direction to your daily decisions?  Are you moving in a direction you like...or not?

I needed to be part of a mastermind group before I could develop a plan for working and progressing.  I am learning a lot from Mentoring for Free and such opportunity is available to anyone who is interested.  Let us know.  It is such fun to grow together and watch each other’s progress and success.  We are there for you and the system is a recipe for success.

Tony Robbins is cool

I like listening and reading Tony Robbins and what came to mind instantly when you said But back to Toni Robbins he made the point that whatever is the strongest need in our lives, tilts the direction reminded me of an MLM truism - Motivation PLUS Mechanism EQUALS Results.  Most network marketers get into network marketing to change their financial situation (Motivation) then they search for a method of lead generation (Mechanism) and they then get their Results.

So even though Tony didn't mention "money" per se it is definitely contained within that statement.  A quick survey of your network marketing friends will probably give you the answer to Motivation as a change in their financial situation.  Then if your Mechanism is focused on moving product (the only way to change their financial situation) then your Results will be moving you in the direction of addressing your strongest need.

Thanks for sharing those pearls of wisdom from Tony.  He is a dynamic and powerful speaker.

To your success,

The prob;em

Too many are willing to take god out of the equation. That is pretty arrogant in my opinion.
