Discovering the Pieces of the Network Marketing Puzzle
Are you struggling just a little bit or a lot on trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together when it comes to network marketing?
My name is LeeAnn McVey and I wanted to write this article for those of you who may be a bit skeptical of all the mega success stories you read each and every day about successful people making thousands of dollars each week. Honestly, I am not one of those. But I am making money and I have been successful in the knowledge I have gained so far about inter-network marketing and applying it and that's what I'd like to share with you.
Puzzle Piece #1
The first puzzle piece I came across was initiated by me trying to find a better way to build my network marketing business. That is when I started my journey into inter-network marketing . While surfing the Internet I came across Ann Sieg and her wonderful ebook, "The Renegade Network Marketer." It was like a light bulb went off inside my head and this woman was verbally expressing the pain and frustration I was getting from my upline in the network marketing company I was currently with at that time. This puzzle piece was to be the first of many I continually put together.
There was an incredible wealth of network marketing information to be found in Ann Sieg's book. With her ebook, I also was given access to her Renegade System website where there was a ton of network marketing information from tools to use when building a business to learning how to take advantage of affiliate marketing. Let's face it, anyone who is into generating income knows that the key is creating multiple sources of income.
As I said, this was the first puzzle piece of many for me and this one was a little harder to put together than I was ready for. I understood the concept and agreed with darn near everything Ann Sieg wrote but I still seemed to be missing an important component to teach me how to apply that concept. Enter puzzle piece #2….
Puzzle Piece #2
Oh what a truly thrilling day it was for me to find Mike Klingler and his Marketing Merge Renegade University! I remember finding this website that offered me step-by-step help on making all the pieces of Ann Sieg's Renegade Network Marketer come together.
The Renegade University was the answer to my prayers when it came to applying the concept of The Renegade Network Marketer. Mike Klingler even uses Ann Sieg's ebook as his course book. I knew I was on the right track to taking my learning level far above what I could have imagined.
Let me mention right here. There are no quick fixes or a fast track to getting rich on the Internet . But if you aren't afraid of hard work and enjoy doing puzzles (educating yourself) then inter-network marketing is a great way to earn additional income.
The benefits that I enjoy by being a professional member of the Renegade University are:
- Free Step-by-step training through easy to follow videos.
- One on one coaching that is available with a very friendly staff.
- Training that is constantly being updated to keep up with the current Web 2.0 trends.
- Support team that is quick to return answers when you submit a ticket.
- The option to take your education to the next level by becoming a professional student.
One mistake to avoid when becoming a professional student is to NOT be overwhelmed by all the training that is provided. Focus on one or two topics and master them before moving on and tackling more. I found it was getting very overwhelming for me because I was trying to learn too many things at once. That is when I took advantage of Marketing Merge's coaching and got some wonderful and insightful training from Barbara Silva, Coach and author of Romancing the Sale. I explained to her what I needed help with….mainly the best direction I needed to take with everything I had already learned. Once she got me on the right track, it's been smooth sailing and I am much more focused. Along comes Puzzle Piece #3….
Puzzle Piece #3
I decided the next puzzle piece I wanted to work on was one that would begin producing earnings on the Internet for me.
That puzzle was blogging. But what the heck was I going to blog about? Believe it or not I was contemplating a new direction in my life of doing something to make me a healthier human being. I was tired of feeling fatigued and like a slug every day. A healthy diet and daily exercise regime was my focus. Before getting started I wanted to do a natural and safe colon cleansing .
I did a lot of research on the Internet and found a colon cleanse program that I felt was going to be a good program for me. At the same time I was teaching my teenage sons about blogging. I told them that they could blog about anything that they were knowledgeable or passionate about. So I decided to prove my point by blogging about my colon cleanse detox.
A week into my two-week colon cleanse detox, I became an affiliate of the colon cleanse company where I had purchased my products. I was THAT thrilled with their program and the success I was having with my colon cleanse detox. Thanks to Ann Sieg, I had learned and understood the importance of providing free information that was valuable and affiliate marketing. Now I had the perfect opportunity to apply it.
Through my continual training with the Renegade University, I was learning how to effectively use keywords, how to utilize social bookmarking, create anchor text links, and so much more. In the last three months, I have successfully earned $1,680..20 through my blog and affiliate marketing.
But the puzzle isn't finished. Here comes Puzzle Piece #4….
Puzzle Piece #4
This part of the puzzle has me learning from Mike Dillard and Magnetic Sponsoring. Mike Dillard came out with a great training system on learning the power of Google Adwords. It's called PPC Domination. This has taken me to a new level of learning how to advertise my blog and affiliate website through Google Adwords.
This is all new to me but I know with patience, education and time, it'll be another piece of the puzzle I will have mastered.
Wherever you are at in your inter-network marketing education, never get yourself on information overload. Take it one puzzle piece at a time. When I first started with this puzzle, I had no clue what the final picture would look like. But looking back on what I have learned and have implemented on the Internet;, the bits and pieces I have taken from Ann Sieg, Mike Klingler, Mike Dillard and Barbara Silva; my puzzle is shaping up to be a rather beautiful looking Monet!

Love the analogy.
Finding success can be like a puzzle. Most of us want the 'finished project' in about five minutes.Sometimes if we can't find a puzzle piece, we quit, throw in the towel.
As you said in your article, it's important to take one puzzle piece at a time and I encourage everyone to not get discouraged but to take it one puzzle piece at a time.
Thank You
Thank you LeeAnn,
Wow, as ovbious as it is, it wouldn't have clicked unless i read it. I'm putting myself on Information Overload. I'm very new to MLM, Network Marketing and Internet Marketing. Even though they all require some very similar practices, they are different. I've been trying to master them all at once and i feel overwhelmed.
Thanks to your article, i realize that i am on info overload. Now i'm gonna take your advice, and master one piece at a time.
Info Overload
Hi Christina,
You have made my day! I was thinking to myself as I wrote that article; "if I could only help one person from realizing that it's okay to NOT know everything and expect to get instant results but to pace yourself" than I accomplished what I set out to do.
I am glad you took my information to heart. Keep doing what you are doing and pretty soon, you'll have your very own Monet! ~ LeeAnn
Thank You LeeAnn
LeeAnn,
You are just what the doctor ordered for me to keep going with my business. Yes, I do get fraustrated and feel like what the heck am I doing, but with your advise about the puzzle pieces I know I am going in the right direction.
The pacing of myself is exactly what I need. I am working very hard right now on PPC Shadow and feel like I am finally reaching my goal of at least getting something out there.
Again, thanks for your advise. I will follow it.
To Your Success,
Linda
