Do You Believe in Network Marketing?... even those who fail, believe. Want to make six figures in your networkmarketing business? Or at least enough topay your mortgage payment every money? It takes more than "believing." I can't tell you how many times I've heardstruggling networkers say: "I believe in network marketing... I just haven'tfound the right opportunity yet." What's sad is most networkers who saythis go from opportunity to opportunity,ever seeking but never finding. Why? Because they're looking “out”... instead oflooking “in.” Are you trying to “make it” in this industry? Stop looking for that “better opportunity” anddon't waste time chasing after some over-hypedpre-launch. If you're in a solid opportunity now, then it'stime you WORK on you! Time for some personal growth. I failed for 2 straight years in my first realopportunity, not because it was a badone but because I'd not yet acquired themindset necessary to succeed in this industry. Once I changed, everything changed! "The difference between those who succeedand those that don't is the 6 inches betweentheir ears." - you may have heard that before,and it's true! It's about... Your thinking. Your “mindset.” It's who you are... or at least,who you become. If you're “uncertain” you'll telegraph thatuncertainty to every prospect you meet,and prospects smell fear and uncertaintylike sharks smell blood! Once you stop focusing on where your are,and start focusing on where you're going,things will change. It takes mental discipline to “see yourselfsuccessful” and act on that vision. But it'scritical you do it. You've heard me and other trainers tell youyou have to value your time, because yourtime is the most valuable commodity you have... Well believe it, because it is. Once you spenda minute of your time, it's gone. You can neverget it back. You MUST value your time... if you don't,no one else will either. I charge $500 an hour for one-on-one coaching($350.00 an hour to my list) and peoplejump on it. But I started treating my timelike it was worth $500 an hour LONGbefore it ever was. You need to do the same. Don't waste your time with people whodon't DESERVE it! Your mindset should be: “people needto qualify for my time, because my time'sextremely valuable.” Personal growth doesn't happen overnight.It takes more than reading “Think andGrow Rich” once (although that's a greatstart). Paying for an expensive seminardoesn't urn you into an overnight heavyhitter either. Growth takes time, and effort andsome people grow faster than others. If you're like me, it may take you longer thansomeone else... so what? Once you get there,it won't matter. If you want speed things up, work harderON YOU!!  Read more. Challenge yourselfmore. Attend some seminars, get coaching,do whatever it takes to get yourself whereyou want to be. When working with someone in my downlineor a coaching client, I make them do more thanthey think they can - because they CAN do morethan they think they can! So can you. If you don't think you can, thenEXPAND your thinking. You can. You have to push yourself, hard, to get tougherand sharper. When you do, you'll start attracting better andbetter prospects. Why? Because people WANT to work withsomeone who can help them get to wherethey want to be. It's that simple. Become that person who KNOWS wherethey're going and nothing will stopyou. In your mind, embrace the fact thatfor all intents and purposes, it's alreadygame over” -- “you've already won.” Whenyou do, it's only a matter of time till yoursuccess becomes visible reality. Embrace THAT mindset and your prospectswill want a piece of it! I guarantee it. Theywill WANT to work with you. Allow your desire to drive you. You are so right it does not matter how long it takes.  Cause once you do it you own your life.

However If you want to charge People for your time 500.00 is not enough.

I have been thinking a lot about the positive mindset I would like to have being involved with  internet/attraction marketing, and could not agree more with what you have written. I truly believe that my business partner Eric Walker and I are going to be successful, and it's that attitude, whether there are setbacks or stumbles along the way, which makes all the difference.

There is enormous value in the power of positive thinking. Learning from each experience leaves no room for failure. Knowing this has empowered me to feel much more confident online, even though I have just begun my journey as an internet marketer.

You are so correct when you say that there are many good, solid network marketing opportunities out there.  It's not the opportunity that fails, not the compensation plan or the product of these companies, it's the person's thinking.  I am learning from you and Mike Dillard and applying what I'm learning...when I make phone calls I do have the mindset of who I am looking for...I don't need to sound "needy" on my calls - either the person has the qualifications that I am looking for, or they don't.  They don't qualify, I qualify them.  Thanks so much for your continued interest in sharing your expertise. - Linda

 What you think is who you are. Great article, clear out the negative clutter and replace with positive self talk is only the beginning. Then to find a five pillars company where the cards are not stacked against you .... then you can find that freedom factor!

I Believe in Network Marketing

Hi Mark,

Great article.  I especially liked this part:

"Become that person who KNOWS where they're going and nothing will stop you. In your mind, embrace the fact that for all intents and purposes, it's already game over” -- “you've already won.” When you do, it's only a matter of time till your success becomes visible reality."

I am a very quick learner and it did not take me long to figure out that there were two sides to Network Marketing.  The Direct Sales Marketing (your company) and the Network Marketing (MLM) side.

There is a HUGE difference!  The most important thing to remember is that you have to be there to help people first and foremost.  Most people jumping into Network Marketing are excited to have found something that will change their life, give them an income and financial freedom.  They soon realize all too quickly that they are left hanging and there is no one there to assist them. 

That is where Networking Marketing comes in.  If you have become that person, as you stated, that knows where they are going, you can lead others there as well.  Become their friend, build a relationship, mentor them, coach them...after all it is about THEIR dreams and success...NOT yours.

People will follow you if you become a Leader and can assist them in becoming Leaders as well.  If people would remember this, they would build their relationships and have unimaginable success with their business.

Network Marketing

I've believed in this concept since 1991 when I first became involved.

I stayed involved till 2000 then quit, then I got involved again with the same company and quit again with no success.

I then got involved in online marketing with the Network Marketing concept with a new company who provide a very needed online service.

Now I'm having some success with a system that I've found but I have another sort of system I like as well and I'm devided in which one to follow.

But after reading what you just said, your right I need to focus on one and one only and get the job done, as I truly believe Network Marketing is the best busines model out there.

Why nobody told me before?

Hello Mark,

Thanks for your great articles.

Before I found the name of Mike Dillard on Internet in June, I knew nothing about Network Marketing. I knew only the silly things my sponsor and my network company wanted me to know.

Since then, I've started to learn about Marketing and about self development. I went to my first seminar quite recently and I know now I could not have been successful in network marketing before because even if I believe in it and it makes a lot of sense to me, I had too many limiting decisions.

Now, I know what I have to work on and every day I feel stronger.

The Mindset is the $$$

Without the proper mindset, nothing can be accomplished! Once I learned that earlier this year, I have been forcing myself to believe in belief. It is no other way to succeed! The idea of charging people for my time is a EXCELLANT IDEA.....because my time is valuable. I get upset some days when I don't get a chance to learn something. I know that day is gone and I can't get it back. We all have to devote our time to different things everyday, but self-time is the most important. Great Article.

Most marketers start the way!

Your article says it all.  I did a brick an mortar sales business for 2 years and realised then that I had to change my thinking.  In any business you start you can and will success with persistance, and drive.  Only when you have no love for your product and no drive will you fail. I have a new internet business and know the potential is there. Love the business and work it work it work it.  You wont fail.
