Like many people today, I had problems focusing to succeed in anything besides a traditional job. The reason? Because I, like everyone else was paying attention to too many different things that were being thrown at me online. How did I overcome this problem? By picking a few mentors that provide complimentary guidance and focusing on what they said and ignoring everyone else.

Most people on the internet are out to make a quick buck. The people who are telling you that you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars with little or no investment and no effort are lying to you. Before you can succeed, you have to stop listening to them and realize that making money online does take effort.

So, stop listening to those who would take advantage of you and take your hard-earned money. Make up your mind to focus and succeed.

If you don’t already have a business or niche in mind, then do some research. Find a niche and a business opportunity that interests you. It needs to be something that you believe in and are interested in. And once you find that opportunity, it will be easy to focus on it.

Once you have determined what opportunity you want to do, then take time and make a plan. Set aside time each day to work on your business. If you commit and focus, you’ll finally succeed!

Great advice Michelle

Your article caught my eye as focussing and staying focussed is a daily struggle for me.  I too like to follow each new email or suggested 'great new thing'.  I have a mentor who spares no words in re-focussing me and keeping me there.  Sounds like you do too.

Mentoring for Free has been very helpful for me to get focussed and

make progress in one direction. Until then I was online each day but

going in circles. This is certainly not something to be done in

isolation. Being in a support group is so much more fun and also more productive.

All the best to you.
