Do you Target a particular market?  If you are not reaching the right audience, you are doomed to a failed network marketing campaign.

Some products will appeal to some more than others.  Do you ask the right questions to target a particular niche?

  • What is the age range of the majority of your potential customers?
  • Which gender is more likely to buy?
  • What is the income and education level of your potential customer?
  • Wht is their marital or family status?
  • Is my product a necissity or a luxury item?
  • How will the product or service be used?
  • What is going to draw the customer to your product?  (Ease of availability?  Price? Personalized attention from You?  Does it have special features?
  • Can you educate your target market on lesser known benefits?
  • Is this something that the buying public actually wants or is it just an impulse buy?  Will it benefit them some way long term?
  • Is it something that is easy to pay for? (credit card, etc.)
  • Where do they get most of their information that they base their decisions on?  (Online, Magazines, Radio, TV, etc.)

The most important factor is to educate your target audience.  Set up a newsletter--this is a great way to communicate with them on a regular basis.  It will keep your name in front of them and you can feed the valuable updaates and advice.  This helps to establish your expertise in your field, product, etc.

If you are not comfortable with setting up the system to establish an optin system, autoresponder, etc.  (which is where the information will flow through) and your company does not provide one, there are a lot of companies (i.e. virtual assistants) that will be glad to do this for you probably for a nominal charge.  The service does all the work and you get all the credit!

There are a lot of network marketing tools out there such as Social Media which will accomplish the numerous tasks and they are, for the most part, free.  These mediums take a lot of time and effort but are well worth the rewards in the end.  Just remember, there is a learning curve for each of them so do not try to learn everything in one day~Rome Was Not Built In A Day!

Do some research on the internet and you will be able to find the answers to most of the above questions.  As I said, it is not easy but, with a little time, effort and investigating you can target your niche market.

Happy Target Marketing!  Let me know if I can help.

Target

Professional marketers understand that shotgunning the market does not yield the best results. Target those that are most likely to need what you have to offer.

Great lesson.

Good To Know

I agree with you Dianne and Elwood. You don't want to waste a lot of time trying to sell something to people that are not interested. The same goes with trying to get people to join a business when they are not interested in joining. I also learned this while I was taking business management in collage. You must find out who is in your targeted market and direct your products and opportunity to those individuals.

Best wishes to you,
