Do you think your education stops at personal development?

As network marketers, we have to educate ourselves in order to grow personally, developing our skills in marketing helps us to promote our businesses, products or services, and the smart successful marketers, develop life long relationships.

But what I want to touch on is your physical health. You can do all of the above and it not mean a thing if you don't feel well.  Most of you understand if you don't have your health nothing else matters.  But do you really?

If you talk to someone who has a terminal illness you will realize that feeling well is a gift that should not be taken lightly.  Do not assume that you will have your health for the rest of your life, especially if you don’t take care of yourself now.

If you want to prosper beyond your imagination, than it is your obligation to educate yourself to the degree of knowing how your body functions, so you can sustain optimum health as you age. Living healthy is not rocket science, but changing bad habits takes focus and a powerful mindset.  Just ask yourself this. How many obese millionaires do you ever see?

Here are some simple changes you can implement on your journey to optimum health.

Water-   Drink lots of it.  Sometimes people confuse dehydration with hunger.  Make sure you are well hydrated on a daily basis.

Add-  5-9 fruits or vegetables.  Work them into your meals instead of side dishes.

Eat-    When you are really hungry.  Listen to your body.  Your stomach is only the size of  your fist so watch your portions. You will feel full 20 minutes after you eat so give yourself some time and eat slow. After eating you should feel better, not tired or stuffed.

Don't Eat- For emotional reasons, because something smells good, because your stressed, or you look at the clock and its time to eat.    Listen to your body.

Night time snacks-  Pay attention to your late   night snacking.  Prepare healthy snacks at
the beginning of the week or simply close your kitchen down at a certain time each  night.  Night time eating is the fastest way to gain weight.

Enjoy your favorite foods-  Don't stop yourself  from eating the things you enjoy.  Just
make sure you place a limit on how often you enjoy them.  Life is about balance and when it comes to food it’s no different.

Mini Meals-   3 square meals is what the baby boomers grew up learning, but we know that
eating 5 to 6 times a day controls hunger and increasing your metabolism.

Protein-  Try to eat protein at every meal. One benefit of protein is it helps preserve   your muscle mass. There are simply to many benefits to list here.

Enjoy-  Treats away from your home.  A.  This keeps the treat out of the home.  B.  You can make this a family outing.

Spice it up- Add spices or chili to your food.    Chili peppers helps curb your appetite,
increases your metabolism, and helps the body release endorphins.

Prepare-  Stalk your kitchen with fast conveint  healthy food, in order to set yourself up  for success.  Fresh vegetables, precooked   beans whole grain wraps cooked brown rice etc.

Eat fresh foods in season-  When foods are in  season they taste better and they are usually less expensive.  Ask your local farmer, that way we get you to the farmers market.  :)

Non food-  Develop non food coping skills.   Journaling, massage, deep breathing, you get the idea.

And finally, my favorite. MOVE!  Nobody said you have to join a gym.  Find something you love to do and Just Do It!
