DO YOU WANT TO BE AT THE TOP OF YOUR GAME??
Now, let's get started. Keep in mind that BEING A CHAMPION MEANS:
• Understanding the power of the question
Questions help us avoid complacency and find meaning. They help us see what will happen if we continue to do the same things the same way, or what might happen if we try to do things differently.
• Knowing what to ask and when
You can ask all kinds of questions, but end up going in circles and still not get to the answers you were looking for. Try a different line of questioning. Instead of asking "WHY am I feeling lost?" you might try "WHAT am I missing to feel connected?"
• Being honest with your answers
How many times have you heard people say: "I knew I should have (fill in the blank),” but didn't do anything about it?
Ask yourself that question you have been afraid to ask yourself.
This trait is about asking yourself questions to make sure you are connected to yourself, and what you want to achieve. We start this series by starting to think about what it means to you to be on top of YOUR game. To do that, this week we want you to consider what might be holding you back from this. Where is there room for improvement in your life? Listen honestly to the answers that come to you.
One day this week take some time for yourself. Carve out half an hour — it could be while you take a coffee or tea, or have a walk outside. Think of something that deep down you know you have to face, but have been avoiding.
Framing the question as follows might be a good starting point:
If I am really honest:
• Am I giving 100 %?
• Am I engaged in my work?
• What habits do I want to get rid of?
• Am I living within my means?
• What would I change in my life?
Take a moment to write down what it is you need to face in order to breakthrough with this series to be on top of your game. So very powerful to be documenting!! You owe it to yourself!!
This information challenge was taken from CBC website: Top of Your Game http://bit.ly/LqDfQ which also has a video (which I could not figure out how to import). Great programing for effective marketing or any goal you hold. Lets do this together and report how it works in comments. I will be following this and posting weekly on it.

I have found when I am ready to make Changes
I then ask
why am I giving 100%?
Why am I engaged in my work?
Why do I always stay so Positive?
Why do I live with in my means?
Why do I always know what I want?
Putting it this way gives you a chance to see how it feels to actually be doing it. Has something to do with the Sub Conscious.
Why am I good with money?
Why do I always have more then enough?
You will come up with the answers try it?

the top of our game
Great post. And yes, I'm sure we all want to be at the top of out game.
These are great questions to ask of ourselves quite often, so we can help keep ourselves on track.
I like the postive angle of the way you rephrase the questions that we are to ask ourselves. It makes it less lamenting, if you know what I mean.
Thanks for you thoughts, Rachel.

IT IS EASIER THAN YOU MIGHT THINK...
Rachel,
You are so very nice to remember those who still need a little push, be more organized and all needed to reach their goals more efficiently and faster and strive to become better people overall. Questions are very good.
It is always a good idea to write down your schedule, in priority order and strive to accomplish ideally all. Or at least majority and start over next day. This is to the planning.
To become better in other areas considering personal improvement, it is said that it takes 22 days to break a habit. I am not really sure about this number, myself being able to break habit "on the spot" but perhaps someone took pain to do this statistics. Still I think it could be a good idea to give yourself that time frame and strive to fit in there. Whatever you wish to change, first thing to do is to START! It comes easier and easier and results are worth the effort.
I can name so many of my students who developed excellent skills in handling their daily tasks that in the beginning seemed to be unmanageable. Then it was just routine, automatic thing. It is really like one would master musical instrument...People often tend to give up thinking that they do not have a will power or whatever excuse it might be.
Trust me, all can be perfected, even our own person.
Friend always,
Maya
