Does "Network Marketing" provide "Personal Development"?
Whether you're new to network marketing or "an old hand" at it, you've inveriably discovered at sometime or another, this is by "far" not the easiest thing to do in the world. If fact, more often than not, more and more networkers are "giving up" because they haven't yet realized, they actually have what it takes to succeed. They just fail to put forth the effort to achieve the success for "financial freedom" they originally sought after in the first place.
The "mindset" required to succeed....
In order to reach any type of goal, you need to learn to develop a certian kind of mindset in order to reach that goal. Learning various types of skills regarding "personal development" will become an aset as you progress into a more affective person. I use the word "AFFECTIVE" for a reason. Whether in "real life" or being involved in "marketing" of some kind, you need to show how "INFLUENCIAL" you are, or can become. Becoming an "influencial" person is how you are able to secretly reach into someone's sole and push their "React Now" button. This is how so many people have become a success in not only "Marketing" but also in fields involving "Sales", "Management", & "Leadership" positions.
Once you are able to develop this "power", you will find it more and more easier to control any situation you find yourself in.
Utilizing marketing is an "affective" tool....
Deciding to "jump" into network marketing shouldn't be done as "lightly" as many networkers make it appear to be. It's the "influencial" marketing tactics, that pushed your "React Now" button, that ultimately forced you into making such "rash" decision to begin with. Now that your locked into your "position", you feel compelled to do same to others, only you've suddenly discovered something "blocking" your path to success and financial freedom. Not only are you "unfamiliar" with marketing in any sence of the word, you don't even know enough about yourself, to know if you have it in you to succeed.
Guess what? You do.
Finding "Success" Within Yourself....
Did you know EVERYONE is capable of success in one form or another? Even if a persons' actions are heavily influenced by diseases like "depression", "schitzophrenia" or being "bi-polar", success can be found within a few short steps. Though they may be big steps, each staircase can ulitmately be conqured, by taking one step at a time. It just takes a certian amount of effort.
Yes, I said EFFORT.
In order to become a successful person, it requires a certian amount of effort on your part. Whether "success" means, getting through the day without loosing your temper, or thinking about suicide, or not being threatened that the mailman left you a "package"; success presents itself in many forms. It's up to you to find out what YOU need to do in order to achieve that goal.
For example, what are some of the popular books you hear "successful" people promoting?
"Think and Grow Rich": by Nepoleon Hill, "7 Habits of Highly Effective People": by Steven R. Covey; and "The Greatest Salesan In The World": by Og Mandino are among the most popular books read AND promoted by "successful" people.
Don't be "fooled" by the titles of these books. Do you know what they all have incommon?
They're ALL "Self-Help" books!
Don't ever become leary of reading "Self Help" books. Those books are quite possibly the reason for the increasing numbers of "successful" or "wealthy" people found around the world today. So, do yourself a "favor" by investing in a few "self-help" books, don't be fooled into thinking you don't need any help.

Well spoken
I think your article sums it up in a nut shell. Most people start out with expectations that may or may not be realistic based on upline stories . They fight and struggle and lose confidence and focus as the set backs come. And believe me they will come. This is not about who wants it the most but who has the ability to see it completed and run the race.
I personally will finish the race. Wont you ?

Great insight on self development
People so often choose to ignore self improvement.
It’s a law in metaphysics that
no two things can occupy the same space at the same time.
So we can either choose to accumulate negative thoughts or positive ones. We cannot do both...
Self improvement is the most important keys to success.
