Eben Pagan's Guru Mastermind Program - $1,854.40 Profit in First Week

It was almost an accident... I already had been working on my first major information product (the Explode My Business Network Marketing Mastermind Course) for a few weeks when I came across Eben's Guru Mastermind Program (special thanks to Mike Dillard)...

Eben is a THE guru when it comes to selling information products online. His business did over $20 million last year and he's even shared how he made his business triple every year. Do you think he knows what he's doing? Heck yeah! And what would it be worth to know what he knows? ...To know the secrets behind creating a multi-million dollar business that started in his bedroom... Think about it..

So when I heard that Eben was GIVING AWAY FREE INFO on building an information product business, I jumped out of my chair and took action.

One of the first entries I saw on Eben's Guru Mastermind Video Blog was a post called “Blueprint for a Successful Information Business...” What great timing, huh? I listened to it two or three times. I took notes. I studied exactly how I was going to implement all of these free ideas...

Now, I had written a few short, basic ebooks about internet marketing and network marketing... but nothing as BIG as the project I was currently working on. About two months after soaking up all of this priceless information from Eben, I launched my course.

A week later I had accumulated $1,854.40 in profits, my only expense being the fees from credit card company deductions... This was all profit from marketing (sending out emails) to my existing lists. I did absolutely NO marketing whatsoever to promote this course... yet... ;-)

This article is going to be a detailed explanation of what I got out of Eben's training, how I applied it, and what results I've been able to generate with this knowledge...

Guru Tip #1: An Easy Way to Find Out What Your Target Market's Biggest Problems Are – Ask Them

The most successful entrepreneurs have been those that have effectively found problems, and then found a marketable solution that they could sell for profit... But how do you find out what problems there are and that if enough people experience that problem to make it a worthwhile product. Obviously in order to have a successful product, you're going to need a lot of prospective customers.

It can be difficult sometimes to get a whole bunch of people to volunteer to be your “test subjects.” So how can you just go ask people – and not just “people”, but specifically your target audience – what problems they have that you need to solve.

Eben has a clever little way to do this. As you build your targeted list of prospects, you can offer them a free 15 minute coaching session. You can email them or talk to them directly, but your ultimate goal is to ask them what is their biggest struggle in growing their business.

As you “pole” your targeted list, you'll have a better idea what their concerns are in their business and what kinds of solutions they're looking for.

(And this is of course why Mike Dillard's info products have done so well... There is a HUGE demand in this industry for REAL training...)

Know your market, gather info on their problems, and start to build and package your solution...

Guru Tip #2: You Shouldn't Have Just ONE Information Product

Your prospects will all have different needs, wants, and goals. They're also going to have different budgets, education levels, and experience in this industry. Now, imagine trying to sell an experienced guitarist a book on how to play “twinkle, twinkle little star.” Contrary to that, imagine trying to sell a book to a third-grader that describes how to calculate advanced differential equations. Both scenarios are destined for failure.

So Eben suggests introducing different levels of products. First, he discusses satisfying people's budgets and how you should have a low-cost product, a medium cost product, and a high-tier product. The low-tier product would be introductory and would be around $10-20. Skipping to the high-tier product, this could come in at anywhere between $200-$1000 on up. The medium-tiered product could use a topic covered in the higher-end course but go in to much greater detail.

Referring back to Mike Dillard's products, you have Magnetic Sponsoring and Building on a Budget, above that would be Black Belt Recruiting, and then the high-tiered MLM Traffic Formula. You take a look at any of Yanik Silver's products, you've got the same thing. Study any highly-successful online information product guru, and you see multi-tiered products.

For my Explode My Business site I already had a basic $7 audio that acts as an “intro to online marketing”. From there my medium-tiered product is my new course, and my high-tiered product is my coaching program. I'm going to implement another product at the end of the year that will go into video marketing a lot more in depth, and I'm also working on a capture page system (it's top secret, I can't give you any more details!)

I've noticed that by educating your prospects for free, and then “bumping them up” on different “stair steps” to higher education levels... you're showing them each time how to get better and better results. It's like a snowball-effect. You're giving them a small taste of what's available, then you're giving them the entre' and before they know it there's a whole buffet that's available... And the more value that you deliver in your low-tiered products, the more your customers will get hungry for your higher-tiered products.

Guru Tip #3: Package All of These Products as a Curriculum

Eben tells you to package your products together. Mention your “curriculum” in everything that you do. Find overlaps between the products and cross-sell them.

My audio training isn't just “the audio training.” It's the Explode My Business Audio Training. My network marketing course is the Explode My Business Mastermind Course. They are all a part of the Explode My Business Curriculum.

Look at a bunch of my videos online. Many of my training videos I say, “Hey there! This is Adam Holland, your Explode My Business Coach...” This isn't just Personal Branding. This is product branding.

Guru Tip #4: Name Your Techniques and Systems

Eben makes a great point discussing a consumer survey about coffee. McDonald's coffee beat out Starbucks coffee in a taste test. But McD's coffee costs about a third of Starbucks coffee yet Starbucks is “known” for their coffee... Why?

Well, the McD's coffee has a very simple name like “Columbian coffee” or something like that. Now look at Starbuck's flavors. Arabian Mocha Sanai. Decaf Komodo Dragon Blend. Starbucks Espresso Regalo. See the difference? Is all about Branding!

Mike Dillard's courses are Magnetic Sponsoring and MLM Traffic Formula.

Ferny Ceballos' course is Attract Marketing Formula.

Jonathan Budd's course is Online MLM Secrets.

And mine is the Explode My Business Mastermind Course.

I've also named a bunch of my teachings:

“The Lazy Leach” - how to “steal” views on Youtube.

“The Viral Marketing Outbreak” - secret technique I've never told ANYONE, but it's in my course...

“The Ezine Traffic Flood” - how to use ezine ads and article marketing.

And there's some others as well...

Using these unique and catchy names in your product makes it more memorable and “catchy” to your reader. If you're writing ANY kind of sales copy, I hope you've picked up a copy of Hypnotic Writing by Joe Vitale. You NEED this book – period. Just look at the title! Joe didn't call it “Creative Writing”... it's called “HYPNOTIC Writing”.

In fact, Eben's short ebook that discusses this is called the Marketing Voodoo Report! So put some thought into naming your products.

Final Tip: “Make Them an Offer They Can't Refuse...”

This is just common practice online. Under promise and over deliver, yes... But build value, and price WAY below their expectations to make your information product a total STEAL...

I went WAY above and beyond all expectations to the point where I was questioning just how far I was willing to go for the people on my list.

Pull up your chairs and fix your attention on this:

My course contains over 150+ pages of action-packed content, complete with step-by-step marketing instructions, and a wealth of resources.

If you want to read the entire sales page, feel free... but do NOT buy this course through this sales page.

>>Do NOT purchase anything through this link >>>

Now I wanted to do something that totally blew this course out of the water... I created over 30 tutorial videos so that my students could not only read and learn, they could look over my shoulder as I implemented these techniques.

Then I added 5 MORE ebooks as bonuses. I piled on a bunch of other discounts on other resources as well as a ridiculous discount on my coaching program. I also created a leadership video series totaling ANOTHER 10 videos. Free lifetime updates are also included.

I made sure to build a HUGE value in this course. You see, I failed miserably in this industry for FOUR YEARS before I found out this knowledge. Then I spent 9 months doing research and testing, and then another 2 ½ months and 250 manhours creating the course. This course was MY LIFE for most of this year so far... And by my results alone, I know the value is in the thousands and I should've marketed this course for about 5 hundred bucks.

But I wanted to make it more affordable... I cut that price in half to make the full retail $247. But I really wanted to go all out for my prospective students. I almost didn't do this, but I made a few promises and wasn't about to back down...

I decided to offer my list this course for 80% off! They got ALL of this info for $50! Yea, I know – I must be nuts! But I did it anyway...

And then I went even further. Anyone that got the course at that price would also have 100% commission on the FULL PRICE as an affiliate for an unset amount of time. So they could literally buy it today for $50, study and implement the course tonight, and buy tomorrow they'd be making the full $247 on MY course. I wouldn't keep a DIME. Pretty crazy, huh? Well that's how serious I am about helping people in this industry. No joke. I really mean that.

And because I was willing to go “all in” for my subscribers, I was rewarded with 38 sales in my first week. That, after credit card fees, is $1854.40 in pure profit. And now those 38 people can market my course and “STEAL” my profits... literally make money off MY EFFORTS and MY SWEAT AND TEARS with the 100% affiliate commission program.

This is called The First 50 Platinum Student Program.

Now, I know what you're thinking. “Adam, but how could it be 50? You said 38, right?”

Yes I did. And now here's where it really gets exciting. I'm going to open up the last 12 spots to the Magnetic Sponsoring community. Yep, you don't have to be on my list or in my group to get this deal. I told them all they had until yesterday, and now I'm making it available to YOU.

Conclusion:

I could NOT have gotten these results without the leadership of Eben Pagan, Mike Dillard, and so many people in the Magnetic Sponsoring community. Study the leaders that you find in this industry. Treat your business as such, and don't think you can treat this as a hobby and make some money – you won't.

Gather information from many sources. Gather different perspectives on growing your business. When you learn what actions yield good results, you're well on your way to success in online network marketing.
