Employee Motivation

The typical job for a successful Network Marketer is to keep their group working to their optimal range, allowing everyone to profit and for everyone to become more successful. We all know that sometimes Motivation can be a very big problem among groups. In order for the Network Marketers group to keep succeeding, the leader must be able to help with motivating employees. This is definitely easier said than done.

Tons of research has been done on this and the subject is still unclear. So what can you do about motivation in your team?

Human Nature is very simple, yet very very complex at the same time. An understanding of this and an appreciation for this is necessary to effectively motivate team members and therefore effective leadership and management must be in place.

The easiest way that I have found to create the drive and motivation in someone is not to try to force it into them. People do not like to be forced into anything and they definitely will not want to work with someone who forces them to do things.

So, you'll need to sit down with them or call them on the phone and you will need to discover their "WHY". Find out whether they have a 4 year old child that they are trying to spend more time with, or if they are trying to put a child through college, maybe just plan a vacation for the family, or maybe they are really looking to get out of their job in corporate america. You can learn a lot from your team and the person you are speaking with. Always remember that it is them who will motivate themself, you, AKA the LEADER, will just need to help remind them of their OWN goals and help them with creating small little stepping stones to help get them to their overall goal. Do not force them into reading motivational books or motivational sessions if that is not who they are.

Find out what truly is their reason WHY and they will find their own motivation whichever way works the best for them. Guess what happens when this starts to take place? They start to motivate themselves more than even Tony Robbins can motivate people! Self-Motivation is always the best motivation!
