Fear of the Phone. Would GOD Approve of This?

Did you ever really stop and think how convenient and easy it would be to expand your home based business, (working a cold market), if you could just overcome the fear of making phone calls? This is without a doubt one of the biggest hang-ups, (pardon the pun), most beginning and even experienced network marketers have trouble with. In order to overcome this fear you have to engage yourself in a little self talk so you can train your brain, (the enemy), into believing that the phone is indeed your friend. I have come up with my own version of the 23rd psalm that might just help you overcome the fear of making phone calls.

I hope you do not see the following as blasphemy as it is not meant as such. I do in fact believe in God and this is just one of the things I've used to overcome my own fear of the phone. I personally think God would approve of my interpretation of the 23rd psalm as I believe he has a sense of humor.

* Important note. If you are new to network marketing or just beginning with a new company, DO NOT attempt to call your warm market by yourself. I cannot stress this enough. There are many reasons for this, mainly though you will not be perceived as an expert in your new business and you may very well lose one of your most valuable assets. The important thing to remember here is, have someone in your upline work with you on this when first starting out. Please trust me on this!!! .

THE PHONE IS MY FRIEND; I SHALL MAKE CALLS.

IT CAN HELP ME TO LIVE IN GREENER PASTURES;

IT MAY LEAD ME TO LIVE ON OR NEAR THE WATER.

IT IS GOOD FOR MY SOUL.

IT CAN HELP LEAD OTHERS INTO A PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, FOR IT IS A GREAT TOOL.

YEA THOUGH I CALL THRU A VALLEY OF FIBER OPTIC CABLES,

I WILL FEAR NO BUSY SIGNAL; FOR I HAVE REDIAL.

THY BLUETOOTH AND THY THREE WAY CALLING, THEY COMFORT ME.

I'VE PREPARED A LIST OF PHONE NUMBERS IN THE PRESENCE OF MY UPLINE;

THEY HAVE ANNOINTED ME WITH KNOWLEDGE; MY MINUTES HAVE RUN OVER;

SURELY GOODNESS AND MONEY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, AND I WILL USE THE POWER OF THE PHONE FOREVER.

One final thought. Napoleon Hill was quoted as saying "Fears are nothing more than a state of mind". That's all fear of the phone is. Someone is not going to jump through the phone and hurt you. In fact, only good can come out of making phone calls. Train your mind to overcome this fear and you will be well on your way to a successful career.
