Fear your Success?
It's been said, along with the major fears most of us experience in life, and building our business, as Napolean Hill puts it, The Six Ghosts of Fear...
Fear of Poverty
Fear of Criticism
Fear of Poor Health
Fear of Death
Fear of Old Age
Fear of loss of Love from someone
There's another couple Fears that hold us back in our business life, Fears that will slow you down and eventually stop you from entering the door to Success.. Those being:
Fear of Failure
Fear of Success
Fear of Failure is a formidable ghost, it keeps you from ever getting started to begin with. It hold you to the bondage of a comfey couch, and lets the TV take control of your mind and actions.
Married to the Fear of Criticism, its difficult to break free of your comfort zone, when your mastermind consists of friends and family members who tell you it can't be done, that your wasting your time and money, and you'd better stay put in that job of yours and hope you live long enough to reap the benefit of living on $1200 a month by age 60, that is if your 401K holds and the government doesn't go broke by then...
For some who actually do experience a measure of success, there is the clever Fear of Success, where you just start to get momentum, and get where your going, you examine your progress to have the voices of your past come to haunt you. They say in a loud whisper, Hey, you don't want to be one of those Big Shots, do you? Remember where you came from! You can't be Rich without stepping on someone to get there! Back Off and come to your senses!

It's fortunate that most of the good people here on Better Networker are privy to these ghosts of fear, because we've been taught in the personal growth that comes as a side benefit of building a business, the people we hang out with, the books that we read, the hours we spend on personal growth and success principles, that these Fears are a product of an unproductive mind, and therefore have no substance except that which we give them.
Keep your Power where it belongs, in your control, and don't give it to anyone or anything. Success will come knocking on the door of your mind, embrace it and hold it dear.

What is the saying.....Birds of a feather....flock together
Great article...Thanks for sharing it. I have always thought that people need to surround themselves with others who are a level or two above your comfort zone intellectually, physically, economically, socially, and the like. Look at who you are spending time with and begin to qualify them. Surround yourself with masters and you will become one yourself.

Hi Paul, I like what you
Hi Paul,
I like what you wrote and believe. i have seen it in action when family and frieds become uncomfortable when I have even spoke about success or becomming wealthy. I have seen the jelously of the people that never do anything to make their situation any better and are threatened by our success. I have even had wealthy people tell me I would never be rich. It hurts, but it gives me more streangth to overcome and prove them wrong!!!
Keep up the good work, thanks for your post!
Take care, Kind Regards, Jill
Wow! Very powerful. Thank you Paul.
Financial success is absolutely dependent on developing prosperity conciousness. Keep your mind focused not on the lack, but on the astonishing abundance which surrounds us all. I like to see life as an exciting adventure bursting with untold rewards.
Some men never find prosperity for all their voyaging, while others find it with no voyaging - Eripides.

It's incredible with so much abundance, people just won't accept it, it's like a fish swimming through all the oceans in the world, looking for water!
Thank you Dr. Jill!
