Then there are the expenses of all the other things that soon add up - gift wrap, gift supplies, Christmas tree and decorations, stocking fillers and Christmas cards, not to mention Christmas Lunch!

The holiday season for many is more a time of extreme financial pressure and anxiety rather than that of relaxing and being jolly.

Why is that we find ourselves in this situation every year, year after year? Make the decision today that this time next year you will have financial freedom. This time next year you will be able to experience the Christmas spirit the way it is portrayed on the TV commercials.

Make yourself a promise, for you and your family that Christmas next year will be different from all the previous ones. Next year, give yourself the best Christmas gift ever - give yourself the gift of financial freedom.

You can find financial freedom by following these few simple steps:

1.  Set Goals - Why do you need to make a list of goals? Simple: If you don't know where you are going, how do you know when you have arrived? How can you strive for something if you don't know for what?

2.  Learn how to Make Money - Learn about the different methods and different strategies there are to make money. There are proven methods that you can use to achieve your financial goal.

3.  Avoid Negativity - This step needs to be treated very seriously if you want to achieve your financial goals. Avoid people who think negatively, or talk and act in a negative way, these people will steal your dream.

4.  Clear Your Bad Debts - Set aside money each and every month to clear your bad debts.

5.  Take Action - Stop procrastinating! If you decide to do something but don't take action, nothing will happen!

6.  Be Dedicated - It is not going to be easy, nothing in life worth having is easy, but the rewards will certainly be worth every ounce of effort you spend.

7.  Be Charitable - Remember that it is in giving that you shall receive.

Follow the above steps diligently and you will find financial freedom. It won't happen overnight and it might not happen within a year, but within five years you will have financial freedom.

Have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

The best Christmas ever...

Was spent in a  border town in southern Mexico.  There was no materialism evident, everyone was happy and festive, parties at every house. Fireworks and parades, celebrations in the streets, music and dancing, love and laughter.  The food was incredible, and no matter what your status, all were accepted, with open arms.  I saw no evidence of the hype and glitze Christmas has come to be in this country. No sign of piles of presents, just an abundance of love.  I really miss that, and would be thrilling to experience the real meaning of Christmas again!
