Are you truly passionate about your MLM business?  Or did you just Google for an "Home Based Business" and scrolled through 100's of home based business and picked one that had the best incentive, aka immediate and substansive income? Well if you did, I'm sure you are not alone.  In fact, as many have quoted and spoke to on here, this business has about a 3% success rate, as too many people just don't understand how the industry works and are ALL wrong about their approach.  Now, don't get me wrong, I am definitely no expert when it comes to MLM and how to build and million dollar empire...I'll leave that to the founders of this great website and the professionals that have been involved for years and years.  I'm just simply and former Corporate employee that realized answering to Mr. Almighty, wasn't doing it for me.  Mind you, I made a fairly nice income that, coupled with my husband's income, allowed us to enjoy a pretty easy lifestyle.  But, like many, I came to realize I wasn't all that passionate about the business any longer. So, here I am.  And, I've been here once before.  Not involved with BN, but involved in the MLM industry, looking for that "get me rich quick" company, so I can stay at home with my kids and be my own boss.  Well, let's be honest, that's why we are all here, right??  We all want to be our own boss, have a passion for helping others and a strong motivation to seek out great success.  However, what I think the other 97% of the MLM seekers miss, is that they aren't passionate about their business.  They are just wanting something to line their pockets and FAST.  I think many of us will agree, that's not the best tactic.  What I have come to realize, and after spending a lot of time and energy on how I can make money and BE passionate, at the same time, I was looking at it ALL wrong.  I had to ask myself - what am I truly passionate about?  It's helping others pursue their goals and manifest a lifestyle that they've always dreamed of.  Ok, so got that covered, now, how do I make a living off of it?   I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity land in my lap.  After months of scratching my head trying to figure out how I can get into the Fitness industry without getting the hours of certifications and sitting at a gym or studio to gain a client base, I was presented with an ingenius way of getting people fit, healthy and to have fun with it.  As Emeril would say, BAM!!  The point of it is, MLM is a very difficult industry to succeed in.  I know that, as I'm no power hitter...YET!!  But, I do know that wasting your time with a product or program that you could really care less about, except for the fact you expect to reach higher ranks by sticking with it, is NOT going to make you successful.  In fact, its going to get you frustrated, discouraged and very unhappy.  It will force you to do all the wrong things to find that next sponsor, coach or customer.  You'll be talking up the "script" to your family, friends, grocery clerk, mail man and neighbor, hoping that they just might want what you have to offer.  Chances are, they are going to see right through you and recognize you aren't talking with them to share what you know and what you are passionate about, you are there to make a buck of them.  Kiss them good-bye. Really take the time to understand how MLM works and the resources available through Better Networkers and the incredible people that are here to offer their insight, in order to build your success.  If you are here, you have it in you.  You just need the proper direction to be the next heavy hitter.  To all of our success!Taryn

passionate about their business

Taryn,

I think you hit the nail on the head when you stated that many people are simply NOT passionate about their businesses.  I've always been more comfortable serving others rather than selling to others.  In the past, I've been talked into trying to sell various items by both friends and family.  It always felt foreign to me despite my best efforts.  The missing ingredient was definitely the passion for the products.  For the first time, I'm genuinely SOLD on own my business!  Every day I'm working on my personal fitness goals.  I absolutely love how the TBB business opportunity simultaneously allows me to help others as a coach.  What a perfect combination!

Best wishes to you,

Angie
