Ever typed your name in a search engine or find a person site? You’d be surprised how much information anyone can find out about you! The days of the “database you” being in your county’s public records or utility companies have been over long ago. Curious? Try going to yellow pages.com or any other find a person site you know of and get ready to be amazed at the results.
With a stolen credit card, or other means, an ID thief can pretty much purchase any information about you including your background, SSN and even Drivers License Numbers! One must ask themselves, is my identity safe? I’ve heard some say, “let them take my identity!, my credit is so shot no one will want mine.” think again. Got a drivers license? In the mind of an ID thief you have nothing to lose but a DL he/she can use. So you become open for Driver License, Social Security, or Medical Identity Theft.
