FORTUNE NETWORK MARKETING – “Spam Filter Hell”

You have just spent a week clicking for points and you finally have enough for a mailer. You mail 2,500 and you get twenty excited downloads! A person you spoke with has emailed you that they have decided to go with your opportunity and bring over one
hundred distributors with them.

That’s really great but you never get her email.  BUMMER!! BUMMER!!

In their effort to protect clients ISP’s have developed very stringent spam filters. Especially tight are AOL (the worst), Earth Link, Comcast, Yahoo to name a few, they are infamous for relegating important emails to “Spam Filter Hell”.

This can be devastating to your business. All those leads and signups you have worked so hard for can disappear in a flash never to be seen again. This can also happen with a spam filter service that you signed up for if they won’t let you view your own filtered mail.

How to avoid spam filters from wrecking your business.

1.    Be sure you inform everyone that you intend to send email to put your address in their contacts or address book.

2.    You need a web site on your own domain. Be sure the host you choose allows for email and does not filter. This also

gives you and your opportunity an established look. Send all of your response letters through this email account.

3.    Use a mailwasher to screen your mail. There are some free ones out there. One of the better ones can be found at

http://www.mailwasher.net  . I think you will find it easy to separate the wheat from the chaff.  Spammers do not like them because

what you designate as spam causes your address to be seen on the other end as a “bad address” and take you off their list.

4.    If you are on the road a lot you can try a service such as http://www.mail2web.com rather than use Hot Mail, Yahoo or

other such providers.

5.    You can prevent “bot email harvesters” from lifting your address from your web site as follows:

For personal sites leave spaces between words e.g.; maries candy@ candy. Com.
For businesses purposes leave the link live and fight it with a mailwasher.

If you set yourself up in this manner you should avoid “Spam Filter Hell”.
