One of the biggest complaints I hear today is about all the 'get rich fast' scams on the Internet. Now I'm sure you've heard about them, or read about them, or maybe you've even laid out your hard earned cash to claim your riches. And you try it for a short while, with little or no results, you stop doing it, and now it has just become a 'scam' in your mind. Of course you'll share these thoughts with anyone that will listen.

With the incredible speed in which everything happens in today's world, I'm here to tell you that, you can get rich faster then ever before, ethically and honestly. Let's look at a couple of examples...

Mark Zuckerberg: launched Facebook from his Harvard dorm room on February 4, 2004. He then dropped out of Harvard and at the age of 23, his net worth is 1.5 Billion. That's FAST!

Mark Cuban: In 1995, Cuban and fellow Indiana University alumnus Todd Wagner started Audionet. It eventually became Broadcast.com in 1998. In 1999 they sold it to Yahoo for $5.9 billion in Yahoo! stock. That's FAST!

And of course that's just a couple of examples, I'm sure you've heard of many more as well.

So just because an opportunity claims that you can 'get rich quick' don't immediately discount its validity. I'm not saying for you to just join in blind faith, you have be comfortable with what ever you are marketing, so you have to do your due diligence in your research, before you join or associate yourself with any company.

So why do so many get labeled as 'scams'? While some are, there are many legitimate opportunities out there that are not...so let's take an honest look at why they seemingly fail and get labeled as 'scams'.

Well...let's look at the real reasons why the program you joined didn't work. For most of the opportunities out there, there are people making a lot of money working with the same company, and using the exact same program, products, strategies and the step by step process laid out. So we can honestly say that...the reason you are failing is not because of the company, it's not the product, it's not the compensation plan, it's not the system. So the only thing it can be...if you're being honest with yourself...is YOU.

***Most people will join because of YOU, the person or leader you are, your reputation, and how you can help them... not because of your company or product***

The fact of the matter is really very simple and straight forward. The main reason you fail to make a lot of money fast is YOU...period. It all starts and end with YOU.

One of the most life changing moments I had was when I heard T. Harv Ecker say 'You not only have to be in the right place at the right time, YOU have to be the RIGHT person, in the right place, at the right time!'

Think about that for a minute. You have to develop, educate, learn and grow as a person and a leader, and become the best you can be, before you can ever hope to start making money, and building yourself a successful business.

Once you realize this concept, and this concept alone, you will never struggle in any area of you life again.

Your get rich quick examples

Your get rich quick examples have one thing in common 100% single minded focus on the task at hand.

What we never see with overnight success is the years of long nights where they were working long after the average person has packed it up and left for the day. Sure there is always going to be some luck involved but the luck is the result of hard work.

Bob I would agree...

Hey Bob, I couldn't agree with you more about the hard work factor. It always takes dedicated daily focus and actions to reach the goals you set.

I was just saying that with the technology available today, and all the great info at our fingertips, it really is possible to cut the learning curve and the time frame way down.

I know that an 'overnight success' usually does not come without years of hard work, learning and dedication...and also some failures along the way.
