Getting Outside Your Comfort Zone: 3 Steps to Getting it Done

How Willing are you to be uncomfortable for a little while to be wildly successful in life?

That is what you must ask yourself.

How can you increase your comfort level? Make something that used to be uncomfortable for you more comfortable for you.

Did you ever do something you were really afraid to do at first, but once you did it you were really glad you did? I used to feel that way about roller coasters. I was petrified to ride one the first time I did it, but once I tried it I was hooked!

The first time I rode a roller coaster I was about 12. I was with my sister and she was already addicted to roller coasters. She went on and on about how much fun it was going fast and going upside down.

I had this little lump in the back of my throat, but I knew I had to do it. Some little voice inside me told me it would be more than okay to let go of my fears and get on that roller coaster.

When I finally did it, I almost felt silly for not doing it sooner.

Maybe you've felt that way a time or two in your life?

What do you really want to do that you've been holding yourself back from?

What do you really want to do that you've been making excuses not to do?

The challenge is to find out what it's like to push yourself beyond the point of exhaustion at being the very best "YOU" that you can be.

Step 1: Set your ultimate goal, no matter how big it may seem and even if you have no idea how you will ever get it done. The "how" you will get it done really isn't important right now because it will come to you in the form of inspiration.

Step 2: Decide to adopt a burning desire in your heart for your goal and let go of all fears and limiting beliefs that could hold you back. Make sure it's a goal that benefits others as well as yourself. A purpose greater than yourself.

Step 3: Start taking action today, right now, right after you're finished reading this to accomplish your desired goal.

I realize these 3 steps may seem over simplified, but it really is that simple.

In our society we have an abundance of things to be grateful for. This is the most important step in this process, so important that it gets it's own article that I will soon write after this one.

The only thing else I want to leave you with is this... knowledge is not power, applied knowledge is. Knowledge without action is like a car without an engine. It goes nowhere. Where will you go?

To read the gratitude article that will be the next installment, just visit my blog they call "The Attraction Marketing Method".

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
