Getting Targeted Traffic Through Traffic Exchanges

For any online marketer the goal is to get more traffic to your website as traffic turns into buyers.  The more targeted traffic you can get the better,  meaning that someone actually goes to your website because they are interested in what you are offering.

You can get targeted traffic in numerous ways, article marketing, Pay per click, writing an ebook etc

There are lots of methods out there but today i want to focus on the person who is new to online marketing.  When you are new you are often bombarded by list building and money making sites that all seem so good.  Start off nice and easy and start to get a good flow of traffic to your site through traffic exchanges.  

Traffic exchanges are under rated in my opinion.  In a traffic exchange you surf pages and for every page you surf you earn credits in which you exchange for visitors to look at your site.

You must remember that other traffic exchange surfers will generally 99% of the time be on there surfing to earn credits for there own business.  

The only way to get any decent results from traffic exchanges is to use splash pages.  Don't use a page with a whole lot of text, the potential viewer is only going to be on your page for a few seconds so your page must be eye catching and offer the surfer something of value.

If 99% of surfers are promoting there own products what do you think might catch there attention.

You guessed it, ways to promote there own program.  Remember online marketing is about building your list, if you can help others build there list you are in effect building your list.

Heres how you do it.

There are several sites that rank traffic exchanges, check these out and register at the top 10-20.

Make up or have a good splash page made up to attract attention.

Best way to surf is using a tabbed browser like mozilla or crazy browser, meaning you can open 10+ tabs at one time. Then open up 10 traffic exchanges at once and start surfing.

If you need to be on a page for 30 seconds you can surf 120 pages an hour and accumulate about 60 credits but if you surf 10 exchanges you can surf 1200 pages in 1 hour earning around 600 credits.  

That is 600 views to your splash page.  Now if you have designed or are using a well written splash page you will start to build your list FAST.

Using the above system with custom splash pages I added 30 to my list in my first day.
