This is a TRUE story.
She Paid for Coaching and Mentoring She Joined the Business at the Highest Level. She Bought and Called Leads. Why was she failing. She looked for answers. She did not know what was wrong with her.
Each person she asked just promised they would show her how once she joined. I do not know about you but I think this should be of Concern to All Better Networkers.
Are Better Networkers Diffrent. Well I do not know about you But I am. I will help any Scammed Grandmother and Tell her it is not her fault. We all have to pick up the torch and burn out all of the undesireables, rats, thieves and trash out of the Networking Marketing building. We have a big job ahead of us but from what I have heard, (I can't say seen) everyone here sounds like they are up for the challenge.

Thank you for sharing your "bad" experience with us; it makes it all the better that you have not gone the same way as those "bad" networkers, but have instead shown grace and determination in becoming a better networker because of it. And it also makes me aware that I'm not alone out there in being "scammed" (yes, it has happened to me before too, but I was almost ashamed to admit it, because I felt like I had been stupid to fall for some of the lines that I have heard before). Still, we are not really to blame if we trust people and they let us down, are we? Or if they fail in their responsibiilty to teach us the things that they have said they will. Only if we fail to pass this onto others.
Basically maybe when we get burnt (for some of us, more than once!) we either fall for the same sad old lines time and again (ie never learn a lesson) or maybe we can become a better networker to help others (I suppose there are some who might go the opposite way, and become a scammer too - in a kind of "can't beat them so join them" way) BUT I feel I am now learning that to be a good networker I have to put others first in the relationship, so now I hopefully offer the kind of support that my team want and need from me, even if I have not been offered that same kind of support from others in the past. To be a BetterNetworker, as in many things in life, I suppose you should treat others the way you wish to be treated by them. And I'm glad it hasn't put you off. I just hope that you will find all the success you deserve in your own business. Good Luck.

I understand completely.
The minimal loss I incurred was a learning curve as well. I know now it will never happen again. That phrase "once you join" is a stickler that should raise a red flag with all newbies. I wrote a piece called 'Don't Fall Prey' for this very same reason. I placed it on my profile in the blog section just maybe others will read it also and become aware of that type of selling that is online. You know everyone must have their limitations. I'm so glad you are here Juanita. This Better Networker.com is a forum that can't be beat. A worldclass organization of wantabe's and professionals all in harmony. Thank you so much for that insight.

Persistance, patience and practice and you did not quit on yourself! Amazing and remarkable people take their situation and turn it into a positive. BetterNetworker is better because you are here. Thank you. All things considered had you spent the same money going to college you'd still have money and years to go. You at least had a tax deduction and the education no college can provide.
