Great Tool - Read the Comments
Hello Troops, There is an VERY important tool on BN that is often overlooked.
READ THE COMMENTS!! On Articles, forum and group posts, blogs etc. Better Networker is filled with Great posts worth their weight in marketing Gold. However, if you really want to go for the gold, read the comments as well. Think about your education, multiple teachers, proffesors and others; like freinds and family helped shape your mind. Helped make you who you are today!
Tunnel vision is not what Better Networker is about. The opportunity to braoden your mind, in so many ways, is right here on this site. You also, have the choice to utilize what you like and diseguard what you don't. So let's say you read an article or post you really like, It really stirkes a nerve. and even opens your mind in a new and better way. Well that in itself is great. Now take it to a higher level. And read the comments. Learn how others are percieving the same information. Learn what their point of view is!!
We are in the people business, and then the marketing business. We all want to use Attraction Marketing, / Magnetic Sponsoring to its maximum effect. By reading the comments you start to get a handle on how different people think!! Subject by subject!! The more you understand people, the more you understand group phsycology. The result is, you can be more effective in your marketing endeavors. You will be able to impact MORE people with what you write, be it an article or a capture page.
Additionally. where some only post a "Great Article" comment to get 5-10 points, others delve right into the subject and add there point of view. Not only can you learn fron their insight but you can get a handle on who the commentor is. This a great way to connect with better people on Better Networker. A fantastic way to connect with the movers and shakers on this site. Also by posting a meaningfull comment you will attract these same people to you!
Recently Deborah Tutnauer, posted a fourm peice on "Snowballing"; "building a group." A great discussion forum peice. Then Deb had to go back in and put people back on track, as the pupose of her efforts was to get a "Discussion" started. Deborah is a a legend in the industry. a practicing pshycologist for 18 years. and a perpetual student!! Therefor she is always searching for other people's opinions and successful building techniques and strategies. If you have something to bring to the table join the discussion. If you are looking for solutions, join the discussion, But also read the comments and employ the foundation of better networker, learning fron others!! Sharing with others!

A Legend?
Hello Tom,
I appreciate your inclusion of me in this article.. I've never thought of myself as a legend..but definitely a perpetual student of any industry that I'm involved in with a particular focus on the mechanisms that allow people to reach their goals.
I agree strongly with you, that the comments on the forum posts or articles are at least as important as the initial piece, if not more so. If network marketing is a relationship business (which it is), then the most important thing to focus on is the interactions between people and how you can learn from those and be part of them. When a person writes and article or a forum post they are working in isolation. As soon as the comments and replies begin, everyone involved now are interacting with each other. It is there you will learn about people's true nature, values, interests, etc...
Thank you Tom for bringing this important topic to everyone's attention.

Yes, I do have a good sense of humor and aim to make everything I do be fun. I wanted to make that clear by posting silly photos on my profile. Who else do you know who would lecture to a senior botany class dressed as a clown? (So what if it was my final semester before retiring - I was secure that nobody would want to fire me at that point. And the students loved it [it WAS Halloween, after all]) Thanks for the invitation to join your group. I will gladly do so as soon as I figure out how.

Stole the idea right from my brain!!
I had the thought of discussing this before but I kinda forgot. Anyway. GOOD TOPIC. GOOD ARTICLE. There is so much to learn from others comments. I feel as though I have to read the comments of an article/forum/ect. that I liked and want to comment on too. That way I don't repeat anything someone said, and if I had to, I could agree with them and connect with them at the same time. I've gained a few friends here just by commenting. I think that everyone here is not on the same level of learning as most of us. Some only want to throw their business in our face. I've seen alot of that lately. And then they wonder why no one comments on their post......lol.

Thanks every one great comments, I read them all LOL!! Keep on doing that and continue spreading the word, Deb. is right, this is a Networking business in every aspect!! And Dr. Clark I would do the costume, bozo thing too, Advertising 101, states, "Get their Attention" !! LOL! I love it!!
