Have Fun with Each Other

This is a quote from one of my favourite books. I hope you are able take something from this article.

Are you fun to be with? Are you fun to come home to? People are drawn to laughter, sweet relief from the duties of life. You can make fun happen if you let out your own playful child and look for the playful Child in others. Having fun every day is a good prescription for keeping people. It is also a presciption for good health. A pediatrician noted that in some famlies there is little illness even though neither parents nor children take very good care of themselves. What she found was a lot of happiness. A bright young man of our acquaintance said, "Healthy people make healthy people." Fun is contagious.

By observing others we can discover what they consider fun. Ask questions? One of the most enjoyable forms of intimacy is sharing fantasies: What would you do if .... you had a million dollars, owned a newspaper company, had a year off from work, built a mountain cabin? Familes can become dreary if problems always come first: Johnny's bad report card, the leaking roof, or balancing the cheackbook. Problems need attention, but solutions come easier if people take time out first to relax. How long has it been since you have been silly, hopped in the car for a spin to anywhere, bought your friend a funny gift, mailed someone a cartoon, taken a day off without having to justify such "unproductive" behavior?

Are you considering a relationship with someone who is serious all the time? Is that what your life together will be like? Think twice. Fun is healthy. Fun is fun!

I love to laugh

That's a line from a song in Mary Poppins. It's very difficult to have a bad day if one is laughing. Laughter creates such positive energy in your life. Great reminder.

No, I am old and grumpy.

But then again, I am the one who the kids go out to play in the thunderstorms when their mother had been trying to keep them inside all day :D

I think living in an adult western world we have to make a conscious effort to have fun.

Fun its a must

Fun... definately much required, if one thing I have held onto is to have fun, I have to tell you quickly, I play netball and this year we entered the annual xmas turkey & tiple tournament, we had to dress up, but having all things going thru my head I completely forgot.  On arriving my team were getting ready with the outfit and I took one look and thought no way, but you know what we played and laughed and we stood out for the night with 12 other teams voting us the best outfit, most fun and sportmanship team for the night, with the refs wanting to come and ref our games just to join in the fun.  

So yes we done something that will be talked about, teams taking photos it was great.

Life is not good with out fun. Every day has to be or I won't get up. Have fun and enjoy life you never know when you might have to work so have fun when you can .

A Smile Is Healing To The Soul

We all just have to sit back and stop thinking about things that we don't have and think more about the things that we do have. Things like family, friends, pets, a place to call home (earth) and just plain being alive. What more could you ask for. What's sad is that even some of the richest of the rich are miserable with their lives. Why? I do not know each person live in their own universe. The thing that we all must realize is that money does not go with us when we leave this earth. There is no reason to go through life disgruntled because we do not have money. What happens is that we spend our lives worrying about money, die broke or rich and have no good memories to leave behind because we focused more on money than life.
