Hey! Guess What? Mike Filsaime is giving away 5,000 free Butterfly Marketing courses for free! ...and I could care less! lol
I just got Skyped by some stranger that I don't even know, about some guy I've never heard of, for some nearly $2,000 marketing program that he's giving away 5,000 copies for free, that I'm not even interested in!
I really do get tired of being some fellas cheap target for the next BIG THING!
When are people ever going to learn that folks really don't like being sold. They like to think that they are capable of making their own choices after being well informed, and they like to do business with people they like and trust.
Don't even talk to me about your "Latest, Greatest Opportunity" if you haven't first become my friend.
Building success in network marketing is actually very much like marriage. First their is a relationship and then committment, then you bare your heart to one another and finally go all the way, so to speak.
You don't get married on the very first introduction, or the first date, unless you're completely loopy.
So why would I consider going into business with somebody on the same grounds.
Learn to be a critical thinker and protect yourself from such rash decisions, even from people you think you know. The eBook Success in 10 Steps is a great intro for self-preservation and even self-development in business and life.
Abundance & Prosperity in all you do,

Great article. I absolutely
Great article. I absolutely agree. Shoving products down people's throats is always a recipe for failure.
Funny...
'unless you're completely loopy.' HA! I actually saw a post today by some guy who was responding in a completely 'opposite' way from everyone else, and he was kinda slamming everyone before him. It was obvious, at least to me, that he was attempting to stand out from the crowd. I dunno...I guess in this business you gotta try everything you can to make it, right? But the thing short-sighted people don't realize is that if you make a bad name for yourself from the jump, it's pretty hard to ever get back into people's good graces. This internet is just like the 'small world' we live in. I run into the same people all over the place. It's really funny to me with millions and millions of people around, you can still hook up with a friend no matter what internet superhighway traffic circle you're currently jammed up in.
Peter has a different take on it
Excerpts and a question -
Peter Roden - Sales Skills and Interaction Article states: Frequently, the "buy" decision is not a conscious process. If you think "impulse" buying is restricted to grocery store checkout counters, you are wrong. Most of your purchase decisions are made on impulse.
Randy - You don't get married on the very first introduction, or the first date, unless you're completely loopy.
From my own experiences in life, online, offline people really do "buy" on impulse and the relationship isn't that important until they get serious. Case in point - How many ebook downloads convert to joining your business? Less than 1 % ??
If that is accurate 99% of the people who download your ebook are doing it on impulse and 1% or less are looking for a relationship. (Easy to check - #of people who join your business opportunity divided by the number of ebooks downloaded equals the % of the ones who want a relationship with you)
Interesting reality check.
To your success,
