How 2B Miserable- Lesson 5: Complain About Your Blessings
“I complained because I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet.” - A sign in a shoe repair shop
Miserable people complain about everything including their blessings. If their car breaks down, they complain that it isn’t new. If their waitress is slow, they complain and withhold a tip.
If prophets warn them against the dangerous media, they say,
“ They can’t tell me what movies to see!”
They’re like the ancient Israelites who got free food from heaven and said,
“What? Manna again?”
By contrast, happy people are grateful to have a car, thankful they can afford to eat at a restaurant (even is service is slow), and prone to sing songs like “We Thank Thee, O God For A Prophet.” ( What good is having a prophet if we don’t follow him?)
The righteous rejoice while the miserable murmur.

Hope this helps!

Hey Logan,
Being happy is a choice. You choose it in the moment, every moment about everything. Some are blessed with the ability from up-bringing and environment, others must develop the perspective.
Misery is a choice just as happiness and joy is a choice.
CHOOSE, but choose wisely!

Complainers
I have the same feelings towards being thankful for the things I have.
I can't believe some of the complainers that are out there.
